No doubt there'll be some customs in due course. I like the Tailgate.
I like seeing things like this that give an insight into the development process. Here we can see different colours, a different turret for Brawl and a different gun for Galvatron.
Note the colour of Cyclonus' head. That must be the prototype that his first Target: 2006 appearance was based on.

The picture of the Decepticon planes is the same one as in the uk 'Ultimate Battle' catalogue, though I'd never noticed the colour of Cyclonus' head before! Really cool stuff!

The best bit is that Streetwise has Track's head!
And Onslaught has Perceptor's!

Ooh, and zooming in on Streetwise, he has two peg holes on his rear bumper. In fact, he has two legs!

I owned a yellow Windcharger once! Got him in a random ebay lot. Not anymore though.

I went through a mad phase when I was buying every South American strange coloured Minibot I could find. I got Windchargers in blue and yellow like Tailgate there -although he is clearly the Tailgate mould just with funky colours- and green and white Cliffjumpers. I do love my Minibots, but Bumblejumper shall forever elude me unless he gets an extremely random reissue/keychain.
I like Hotspot's bigger head. Not quite sure why nearly all the '86 Minibots have red faces.

Superion's hands and chest plate are nearly the G2 colours.
Note how the hands and feet there are different colours - they're the same for all scramble city combiners

There's quite a few differences with Galvatron from what was eventually released. Aside from the aforementioned hand gun and handle there's also:
* Different colour barrel * Different barrel connector that fits in to the hand * Larger black hands as opposed to the grey of the forearms * No slots on the upper arms for the barrel connector to fit over * Some larger labels * Chunkier button on the waist to activate lights and sounds * No flip out door on the chest for access to the battery compartment * Flaps on his sides that are a different shape and appear to swing back in robot mode as oposed to down * Protrusions on upper arms come out more * Legs seem to push further in for gun/tank modes
He went through quite a revision before the final release, apparently.

Galvatron has no feet in cannon mode!
Really interesting to see something like that. I wonder if the Ladybird artists had access to the same photos for their depiction of Cyclonus, et al?
Of course more entertaining was the "Fuck yeah, Seacons!" kerfuffle on Seibertron.com!

I think Seibertron had been hotlinking the images. So TFWiki may have done something to them to make them appear as Seacons if viewed from outside - see the talk page linked above. dunno.

Great find. There are also photos of the 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987 Hasbro catalogues, and the 1993 Hasbro UK catalogue. Really nicely presented.

Wow. The '88 line looks so massive, and yet this was when TF cartoons in the USA ceased to be made. Wonder why they stopped...
