This coming week, as we slide out of arid April and into mulchy May, why not share the love and exercise the 'exalt' button for your fellow Hubbers. Just to be kind.

Oooh, you can only exalt/smite once an hour. Karla your Karma was 6, and now it's 7.

Just to be kind. -Ralph OK, but since we've been picking Shockprowl up on his spelling mistakes, there isn't and never has been an 'h' in 'exalt'. I shall exalt you! And then I shall do so again if you correct the thread title! And a third time if you correct the thread 'Exhalt someone today!' (I think I'm in for a smiting now.) Martin

You can't exalt/smite yourselves. Although certain individuals with awesome power (i.e. Graham, me, Martin, Phil and Ralph) should be able to go in and arbitrarily decide Karma ratings. I had to do that when someone no longer on the board did a mass smiting of chaps.
Anyhoo, I hope this week's exalting will boost the morale of a few of our Hubbers who've been having a bit of a hard time of late.

Currently in the middle of training for a couple of impending races 10k and 5k respectively. Did the 5k route on Saturday and for the first time since training while painful it wasn't utter agony. Did a quick run tonight only two or three k nothing too severe to keep me ticking over before i do the 5k again tomorrow and I felt pretty grotty afterwards. Dammit body - make sense and show consistency.

Starting to feel a bit more awake today after a hectic weekend. Rattled down to Surrey on Friday for my grandparents Diamond Wedding anniversary and a big family gathering. First time I have seen my aunts, uncles and cousins in ten years. All went very well indeed and a good time was had by all. Spent Saturday evening visiting the church where my grandparents got married, and seeing some of the areas in the vicinity where they lived and grew up. Learned a bit about some of the deceased relatives I didn't even know I had on a visit to the churchyard. Then I rattled back up here on Sunday.
Foresightedly I had taken today off work, which was fortunate as I was still fairly zonked this morning.

Not sure how that relates to Kingston (my knowledge of the local geography is a little bit sketchy I'm afraid. Owch! Not nice. Hope that the finger is feeling better. Karl
