He also has a large pile of spares so if anyone is in need send me the numbers!

No spares. I only have a handful as I use only the robot tills in Sainsburgeries.

I've been passing loads on to my god-daughter and her sister, but they are slow in working out which ones they still need, so if you want any of the ones I currently have accumulated, you can have them. I expect they've got them all by now as all the family have been pitching in.
Of the ones on your wanted list, I can give you 9, 38, 78, 119, 129 and 139.
I can either post them to you or come and give them (and any more I get between now and then) to you in person along with your comics one Saturday this month. Assuming you have found an alternative lunch location. Probably finish Alpha Flight this weekend.

I shop in Sainsbury's. I've been ignoring these cards totally. I'll pick em up in future and let you know.

Spent £5 today, and the cashier gave me 11 packs of 2 Lego cards. Over-supply, apparently.
So Phil, I can now give you 9, 38, 78, 115, 117, 119, 129, 139.

Those 8 cards are in the post to you. I went to a different Sainsbury's today and again they gave me more packs of cards than I had earned (but sadly no further cards that you need, Phil). The reason apparently being that the OFFER ENDS ON 13 JUNE (Tuesday)! Martin

Effectively trading cards, they go in an album.
Think Panini stickers.

Mentioned in the Lego thread tmukhub.proboards.com/post/281133/threadI'd gave mentioned it sooner butit appears Jonathan had been collecting them with his Grandma and Grampy and I didn't see he had them till this week when I was told the album was in his bag along with some (50+) unopened packets! Unfortunately I had a weakness for these things as a child so avoided them. Fortunately nanny gets her shopping at Sainsburys and there's several within easy reach of here. There are a large number on the e of bay so all is not lost. To get from 30 to 3 in a few days is good work though!

It is so easy to fall into these things. The kids eat these things called yoyo's, made by the brand Bear. They're like fruit winders, but the packets are kept stiff by a trading card. When I saw some of these being traded I couldn't resist. So having started eating them and trading I already have one full set of 65 cards and am half way to another. I'm not remotely interested in the actual cards, just the thrill of finding out which one is in the packet.

The good thing about the Lego cards (provided you already do a lot of shopping at Sainsbury's) is that you buy the album for £2 and then get packs of cards free with the shopping you were going to do anyway.
