One of the fun things for me is to imagine how newer characters and concepts would have been handled if they were to be included in marvel g1 or g2.

Headmaster Drift
Part of the second wave of Decepticons to Nebulos, the Decepticon known as Deadlock was Binarily Bonded to a master stunt driver called Burnout. Shortly there after, the two were reassigned to Earth, by Thunderwing.
After a firefight with Autobots, Burnout was critically injured.
Deadlock was saved from deactivation by an autobot medic, and a human named Kirk, who volunteered to take Burnout's place.
Kirk, a Master Swordsman and Martial Arts teacher, began teaching the young and impulsive decepticon about honor, and the way of Bushido. Deadlock became Kirk's disciple, learning the art of the sword, and was soon reborn as the Autobot now called Drift.
