I'm confused by the Skipjack reveal. He's just a repaint, isn't he, and not necessary for completing Devastator? Cliffjumper and Blitzwing look really nice, too. Very tempting. Now just hoping they do an Arcee. We're not getting enough Arcees this year..! Can't tell if this is sarcastic or not, but if not, they are. She's about to start turning up any time now. On shelves in the UK

And I'd totally forgotten about that Studio Series one. What I meant was I wanted a Bumblebee movie Arcee, from that opening five minutes. I don't demand too much. ;-)

I don't usually bother with Studio Series (I don't care about the movies) but I always get at least one toy from each TF range so I have a Shockwave in the post. Why? It's Shockwave.

Another reason is needed? I think not.

(And how I discovered that the DotM deluxe starscream mold absolutely pops, no matter how ugly the design is)

I can't see this toy lasting many years without bits perishing. He can't really move his head properly without it being caught on knobbly bits and no waist swivvle (on a Leader!). Doesn't do much for a circa £50 toy either. Not even an action feature. His two robot pals are so tiny they will be easily lost: needed to be at least twice the size. I think I'll stick with Generations and Cyberverse. I do like the parachuting man though. -Ralph

This, on the other hand, I can be excited about. I didn't bother with Blackout, and Grindor (spark-twin of Tindor) is essentially the same mold. But it comes with a Ravage! This is goodness. And there's also these: news.tfw2005.com/2020/06/06/even-more-studio-series-walmart-listings-deluxe-tf6-bumblebee-and-dino-412499 Of those two I'm hoping that that Bumblebee's his Cybertronian mode - given that Cliffjumper exists that seems likely. And then once they're released, might we actually get an Arcee? Or a Brawn? Before they reset the line to be all Sunbow all the time? We can dream...

I'm sorry. I know it's been ten years, but I still can't get over the Rampage design.
It's only means of getting around are as a slow bulldozer, or a living pogostick. If the pogostick were a third "destruction" mode, my opinion of it would improve significantly. Even if the toys only went from bulldozer to jackhammer out of need for fun/simplicity, it would be so much easier to accept.

Looks alright for what it is.
I only bought one SS figure: the rubbery crap that is Shockwave (looked great in pictures but awful, AWFUL toy in hand) so I won't be dipping back in!

I really like the bizarre body forms that the movie Constructicons have. They do indeed make absolutely no sense, but that's part of why I like them. And they are, if nothing else, different.
I'm really liking the look of that Blitzwing, too. Although I'm also wondering if it's worth holding out for the inevitable, not-appearing-in-these-films repaints. I mean, remember SS Thundercracker from Nitro Zeus..?

All the Studio Series toys I've handled seem to have a rubbery feel to them - and I'm not just talking about the sharp edges etc (which would be understandable). They just aren't as 'solid' feeling as the WFC toys. I hope the '86 toys don't follow this.

I know that that Soundwave is screen accurate, but that doesn't mean it's not ridiculous. Cliffjumper looks good, but I'll wait for the inevitable Bumblebee.

I could see myself going Cybertron Cliffjumper and Earth Bee, but I think I've missed the boat on Bee.

Those images bring Studio Series up to date with what's known about.
I'll bet the lack of reveals yesterday together with the 86 rumours have the Bay film toy fans worried.

It does, and IMO they have every right. And the geewunners think that someone worrying their toyline is about to become more G1 is a personal attack.

"What is privilege..?"
But yes, Hasbro did say that the line would continue. And they were clearly only revealing Pulse stuff yesterday, since they also wouldn't show anything of the Back to the Future crossover toy either, as that's being saved for this coming Friday. So I wouldn't give up hope just yet...

Which is presumably the combined cost of buying them all, but I didn't ever need to know that. The joys of buying them a piece at a time and being able to lie to yourself...

As soon as my Studio series Blitzwing arrives I am making a fan tank mode. Did anyone try this? Am I the only one who sees it? The cannon attached at an angle, the cockpit on the underbelly, the rotating and folding nose... Not an Earth tank, but Cybertronian. Anyone have one give it a try and post pics please
