Are those photos taken in class at a school or what?

That Devastator's must be mis-transformed. It MUST! I've not turned down Piranacon for that monstrosity. (I mean... I have. But I want an aesthetically pleasing monstrosity.)

I've not looked at the films for a while, but.... Devastator shouldn't be that upright, should he?

No, not usually. The original prototype that was shown off last year was also less erect (quiet at the back!) so hopefully this look is down to a quite stunning mistransformation.

Shatter looks good, although it remains disappointing that they never came up with a proper triple-changing version of her. Bumblebee's robot mode looks nice, but it's very disappointing on a Studio Series line figure that you can see the pegs on his wheels in vehicle mode. That was bade enough when it became a thing on PottoP figures, but this is too much.

I just don't like pegging on Transformers. Bring back proper wheels!!!

Indeed. Some people may enjoy pegging, but there's a time and place for it.

Wonder if that Shockwave will get a jazzed up KO. Bit of die cast in that and I'd bite just as a one off. Mind you, I said that about Blackout.

Oh bugger - I'd missed that there was a Scrapper coming, too. And just when I thought I might be getting close to finishing Devastator! (Once Mixmaster and Scavenger arrive, that is.)

Very much liking the look of Devastator, and very glad that I passed up the Seacons so I could remain focussed on him. Whilst the Seacons do indeed look very nice, this just looks so different to all the other Prime Wars combiners that it holds so much more appeal to me. And I've always loved this very brutish, monstrous design for Devastator, so yeah. I just hope that he can do the more crawling-like pose that he employs in the film - the prototype seemed to suggest he could, so it all depends on whether the combined form head can pivtot enough...
The only thing that disappoints me is that the "turbine" in the head doesn't actually comes with Mixmaster, but is instead one of Overload's accessories. I guess that was to help balance the price-point out, or something. But even so, it's a little disappointing...

So I got Movie 1 Megatron today. I was feeling really nostalgic towards him, for reasons I couldn't understand. I think he's almost the most boring Megatron design ever (only beaten by TFP Megatron, which is a watered down version of this). I also felt this way towards really good Movie 1 Optimus figures. And after a lot of thought, I think I pegged it. I don't feel nostalgic towards these designs, as much as I do towards the excitement I felt during the first movie.
Anyway. So the figure is great. Even though I'm not fond of the design, it is beautifully sculpted, and the paint work is beyond impressive. The silver paint is really shiny, and he's covered in it not only that, but in a semi-darkened environment, it's highly reflective, while the unpainted underbits are not, creating a lot of depth. His transformation is clever, and kinda impressive. It's also not terribly complicated.
Not fond of his knee joints, and feel they could be designed a bit better. But that's a minor nitpick.
Highly recommended!

I saw the Movie 1 Megatron. I do agree it looks pretty decent. Nice finish on it.

I'm confused by the Skipjack reveal. He's just a repaint, isn't he, and not necessary for completing Devastator?
Cliffjumper and Blitzwing look really nice, too. Very tempting. Now just hoping they do an Arcee. We're not getting enough Arcees this year..!
