I kind of like the Bee for the novelty, but yeah, Sideswipe looking magnificent there.
Despite never having seen ROTF I've owned three Sideswipe toys and still own one after many collection purges, it's a lovely design.

Ah, that answers one of the things I wondered about (the rotary guns are "hand-guns" rather than handguns...). I see where you are coming from with the PCC Searchlight thing Phil. I don't really get the same vibe, but from dead-ahead there is a certain similarity. My brain feels more like they are out of alignment - they feel like they should continue the line up through the rotors and look like swords sheathed over its back. The fact that they don't makes my brain go "something is wrong with this picture". Karl |

I was going to ask why a set of comparison images was needed given they're two totally different robots, but then I remembered about the cassettes... The one thing it does show though is how good VW Bee is. Now to wait impatiently for mine...
