I like Senior's art more than Delbo's. Well, it's night and day. Thing is, Delbo was really uncomfortable drawing robots but his humans were fine. Just... didn't 'get' robots. What hurts him is the inking. I've seen some of his pencils and they actually look pretty good. I really wonder what someone like Baskerville on Delbo would have looked like. (They switch the inker in between issues on the third volume you have, so you see the same splash page by the same artist inked by two different inkers and it looks worlds apart, no spoilers!) |
