Plus, this very thread is a testament to the fact that they are, or at least were planning a collectors club, AS THEY ISSUED A PRESS RELEASE ANNOUNCING SUCH ENDEAVOR. Yes, but it doesn't exist. -Ralph Love still exists, guys. And that's all you need.

Paul McCartney's greatest work was this, not The Beatles:

No!
Frogs beaten marginally by the theme from Live and Let Die. But that wasn't the Beatles either.

The Live and Let Die theme is narrowly McCartney's second greatest work.

The best thing they did was provide the music for the best moment in the worst episode of The Prisoner.
...
okay, I admit there are one or two catchy songs and people have convinced me they did some genuinely clever things, musically, but it's mostly not to my taste.

They didn't write anything new for it, they just allowed All You Need is Love to be used incongruously for the climactic sequence.

I never knew they did music for the prisoner... It's more fair to say their music was used on The Prisoner, specifically All You Need Is Love in the final episode fall out.

To be fair, the beetles were a little over rated. Some great songs, some utter shite.

As a child I enjoyed THE YELLOW SUBMARINE film because it was a cartoon and had a submarine in it. Unwatchable now. I did used to have the album and there are some decent tunes but otherwise I find their music to be aural wallpaper and I really don't understand the fawning over John Lennon which goes on to this day. Sorry!
The best Beatle was of course Ringo Staff for his fine work on THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE. I am being serious!

It is! You can easily find just that sequence on YouTube, but if you think you might watch the series it definitely counts as a spoiler.

You mean best episode of the Prisoner No, but I was wrong. Episode 13 is the worst episode. I often forget it. "Hammer into Anvil" is the best!

I thought we'd done something on Burns' frog song obsession before.
Can I find it?
I even searched all posts with Youtube in them, didn't find it once.
Found the Number 73 titles four or five times!

I am fairly indifferent to the Beatles but I have to admit to quite liking their 'last' song that came out today.
