Battle of the Planets

Following my PvP (Prime versus Prime) picture I fancied continuing the PvP idea and decided to do Planet against Planet. Of course your mind automatically goes to Unicron as one of the participants.

Who to use for the second planet? Ego the Living Planet was a contender but I have a great deal of affection for DC's Green Lantern series and of course that means picking Mogo. Mogo is a planet sized member of the Green Lantern corp - made famous in the Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons collaboration Mogo Doesn't Socialise.

The image was done entirely in Adobe Illustrator. One of the first times I've used it from start to finish. Naturally there are a few things I'd like to fix but on the whole I am reasonably happy with it.

And a tip of the hat to G for being a sounding board while I was working on this.

I rather like that (but then, I like Mogo so seeing him lay down the law to Unicron appeals to me). Appropriately pretty much an stare-down (which Unicron was always going to lose). I'm probably alone in hearing Mogo with a Baltimore-ish accent though.....
