I have to confess I was hoping we'd get at leat MP Rhinox and Rattrap before switching over to the Preds, but now I've seen this I just want Tarantulas and Terrorsaur already.

I actually kinda think Gen Rattrap with some retooling could be turned into an MP. Damn near perfect, and is completely in scale.
I wouldn't mind that, if they could use it to knock the cost of a really bug guy like Rhinox or Megatron down. I mean Dinobot's already ridiculously overpriced.
But I do think they're using Gen Rhinox, Rattrap, and Waspinator as stand ins while they work on characters who have zero representation in recent years.

That is astonishingly good. Seems Beast Wars has taken centre stage for the moment. Two new G1 moulds last year and none this year!

My idea of Beast Wars scale is 100% fixed on the toys! (Likewise I am always concerned how modern G1 Optimus Masterpieces TOWER over the other Autobots) |

I like the show scale, but the show was fairly inconsistent.
They sometimes oversized Dinobot for dramatic effect. Sometimes he's equal with Optimus, equal with Rhinox, and equal with Megatron (who himself is shown occasionally as bigger, equal, and smaller than Rhinox).
I could easily deal with Megatron and Dinobot being 10-20% smaller.
If only to bring their prices down to something more reasonable.
