It will be another artifact.
It would be nice if it was actually Prime and not Primal, a nice call back to the original intent of the Beast Wars to be a direct continuation extending out of Generation 2.

I think that while some may appreciate that as a call back, most Beast Era fans would feel like it's yet another slap in the face, and yet another example of the almighty G1 stomping all over everything that's not G1.
And I kinda feel their indignation would be in the right. It'd be different if BW was better represented, and not usually treated as the bastard stepchild by those in charge.

I tend to agree. Given these shows have already had the precident of multiple Primes kicking about I'd hope its not too much of a hope that Primal will be his own character (plus there's a Power of the Primes Optimus Prime they could use to resurrect the original). Also, we could have both Optimus Prime and Primal teaming up. Who wouldn't want that? (Pity it won't be Gary Chalk though).

The Official TF Book of Face page is advertising the series as starting on May 1st. Which on the one hand means it's not at the end of the promoted toy line unlike the last two...on the other hand it would therefore seem unlikely there's been time for feedback on the last show.
