Is there one single Transformers released toy (that included anything from another line & given a Transformers name & released under the Transformers logo box) should we never have remade.
Either in Generations style update or maybe themed toy with another name which we can tell was the toy but Hasbro can't use the name.
Whether it is more a toy thing or you just hate the character. (Armada Scavenger)

Is this shouldn't have been remade as in the original was so bad it should have been struck from the record, or as in the remake was so bad it sullied the name of the original?
I can't think of anything I'm strongly opposed to. I don't really like the way a lot of classic characters got remade as canon fodder for the movies, like Ratchet and Jazz, it'd have been better to stick to original names.

How was Ratchet just cannon fodder? He was as close as it gets to being a main character for three movies, without being named Optimus, Bumblebee, or Sam.
As for the subject, I don't think I hate anything that much. Leobreaker is on my list of worst toys ever made. If he doesn't top it, he's really close to it.
I mean, he makes me unreasonably angry, I hate it that much. But my hatred is nothing against the design or the character. If they were to release a new toy of him as a deluxe, a great many of my issues would be gone.
But the original toy needs to be burned.
Wait... I take that back... Sunbow AND Aligned style dinobots. Those abominations don't deserve to see the light of day.
Most WfC/FoC dedigns don't.

I also kinda don't feel like Jazz qualifies, as his death was intended to have emotional resonance, even if it did fail at that because that's not in Bay's wheelhouse if it doesn't involve Bruce Willis and an asteroid.
Arcee fits the cannon fodder definition to me, though.

It seems the bike toys where just made so they could do the scene in the Movie with them having the upper bodies moving round on the mid section. So that doesn't give you a good toy

How is that a robot mode?! It's a mode, of something which is a robot. That is how it is a robot mode... Is it a humanoid robot? No, but there is nothing to say that a robot needs to be humanoid - after all plenty of the ones we build aren't humanoid, and quite a few of them roll around on wheels... Soundwave is such a classic & was right the first time. But are your views directed to the MP one that it isn't better than the original? When it isn't broken don't fix it.
But then you look at Blaster & the out of scale robot mode. Seems someone was trying to hard & didn't do it. The legs let it down & the small head.

One toy I wouldn't put on the list would be Reflector - but apart from the minicon toy from a few years ago Hasbro have never touched the toy (even with those Movie 1 toys)
The Omnibots (I'm just going to check on them) they look more from the designers of Gobots than Diaclone but they should have new toys but forgetting the original. Would be like making WreckGar to look like the Gobot bikebot. They have good names but you can tell it's a different design team - the shoulder joints

I love the original Dinobot designs. Toy remakes for them have yet to better them so far, for me anyway. I have yet to fiddle with their POTP incarnations.

The original dinobot toys are fine to me (though they can and should be improved upon). The sunbow inspired stuff (mp grimlock's "t. rex") though are not.
The FoC dinobot designs in this day and age are unforgivable.
TFA dinobots hit the right marks. I don't ask for cutting edge 100% scientific accuracy. Just that they're alt modes are treated as though they're based on actual animals, like any other TF with a modern animal alt mode (such as the predacons, and the headmasters).
That doesn't seem to be an unreasonable desire to me.
Most people would not accept Weirdwolf repainted in black and orange, and called a lion. But that's how far off from a tyrannosaur most Grimlocks are. Most cartoon "t. rexes," for that matter.
And most of the people I see who tell dinosaur lovers to "shut up, they're not real dinosaurs, they're robots." Tend to be the same people who flip out if Sideswipe isn't a lambo.

Yeah, but the limbs in no way suffer for it and genuinely feel like straight updates of the originals.
