Had I known this wasn't in the UK and was something you guys wanted, I'd have drabbed a bunch on clearance. It's okay - I assumed that they'd turn up here, so didn't think to ask. And anyway, I'm not sure I wanted it enough to pay for import costs. It was more a "this looks like it'll be nice when I see it" purchase. Although it's good that we've learned not to assume anything... |

Deluxe wave 1 are here. Wow. They are titchy! Hmmmm.
ID clearly got them via being bought off shop shelves. The clue is in residue from price stickers that once adorned the boxes! No matter: I recycle that anyway.
Now to open Bumblebee.

Bad Phil. Lots of good stuff in Cyberverse.
Deluxe Bumblebee is ok. Just a bit more complicated to transform than is my cup of my tea. But not a bad toy.
My 2 Tiny Turbo Changers arrived today. Will one of them be the Shockwave I need to complete my Cyberverse Shockwave retail release collection? I will open them on zoom tomorrow.
I wondered if maybe Amazon would let me buy 2 more after collecting these 2...but no! Amazon says no! Only allowed 2!
The pictures on Amazon showed series 2. The two bags I was sent are series 1.

Deluxe Megatron and Prime are fun, just like Bumblebee. Really, if these had better Generations-grade plastic they would be top class.
Prime is great fun. I like how the gun and blast effect parts store in vehicle mode.
HE ALSO HAS THE FACE OF A KILLER.
Megatron is weaker and the chest symbol is slightly off but I do like the Cyberverse design.
If these came out at UK retail and went on sale I would highly recommend them. Great designs.

I have also discovered that Prime's articulation allows him to do a rude hand gesture at other robots. The "You're a w*****!"-type hand gesture!!!

And I'm still very dubious about the "voice activation" gimmick. These aren't expensive toys either, so how good is that gimmick going to be? Still, they don't look too bad. But I'll not bother with that Prime since, gimmicks aside, it's the same basic design as every other Cyberverse Prime, so not that interesting. And he doesn't have wanker hands. Meteorfire would've been interesting, but he's way too boxy. So that leaves Wildwheel as the one I'd be interested in getting. He looks fairly solid, and it's a character I don't own yet, so if these were to ever appear I think I'd probably take a punt on him. |

Articulated ears? Now I know that Toph has said that Shockwave's hose is a bit stiff (which isn't normally a problem, nudge nudge, wink wink, know what I mean?), but articulated ears easily cancels that out! I must have that Shockwave! One day!
