TABLE-FLIPPER PROWL!!!!
Aka G-Creations Metal Series, err, 'Rebel' or something....
Anyway, SUPER PROWL!!!!
This is what Prowl would look like if he got The Matrix (except he's have a third Space-Owl mode, obviously). What a mean-looking, kick-ass, beefy, Ultra-warrior Prowl!!!
ROBOT MODE
HE. LOOKS. MAGNIFICENT!!!! HOLY COW!!!! Such a lovely intricate busy well-sculpted design. Lovely paint throughout. He's got so many weapons he even has guns on the backs of his knees! Two chunky handheld weapons, trademark shoulder rockets, fore-arm blasters, this Prowl means business! This Prowl could take down Shockwave! The head and face sculpt are beautiful, and the entire robot mode looks amazing. Articulation-wise he's very nice, except for one major problem. When holding his arms straight out infront of him, as though he's blasting away at something, he cannot move them laterally out to the sides. Considering he's even got pelvic trust articulation, this lack of shoulder movement is a bit of a let down, and does hinder certain poses. His rockets are also easy to knock off. Other than that disappointing problem, he looks magnificent in robot mode. Kibble is minimal, backpack is discrete. And as I say, the face sclupt is to die for. Utterly superb looking Prowl. The meeting between Table-flipper and MP Prowl was momentous. Reminded me of the Marvel UK story, I forget what it's called now, Flashback I think, where current Prowl goes back in time to stop Megatron, and takes control of his past self. Present and, perhaps, future Prowls meeting... Table-flipper is the exact same size as MP Prowl. And the plastic is of the highest quality. Feels dense and strong. The scientific 'hand-weigh' test reveals that Table-flipper is heavier than MP Prowl.
BUT THEN THE FUN STOPS, AND YOU TRANSFORM HIM....
What an absolute ball-ache of a transformation! FFS! The instrucitons are useless. Youtube videos are required. The legs are the wrost. That lovely intricate detialing in robot mode? Becomes a symptom of a mass fold-out of limbs and pannel clipping bastardness. Transforming this figure made me want to kill things. It's an absolute sod. A twat-bag of fiddle-bollocks. For God's sake, why? The figure didn't have to be this complicated to transform! Why make it this difficult, G-Creations?!?! Uncalled for.
BUT ONCE IN CAR MODE....
Again, looks great. Once you get all the pannels lined up and clipped in right. A lovely Cybertroiany armored car design. With weapons attached, Table-flipper looks almost like a sleek tank! And, RUBBER TYRES!!! Fantastic.
So overall, really glad I got him. Robot mode is beautiful, every time I hold him I see a new bit of detailing. BUT, he'll be staying in robot mode. A robot mode that's only let down by the poor shoulder articulation.
Table-flipper is a welcome addition to my Prowl collection.
