On SyFy over here in May. Might have a look!

I was afraid it would be either boring, or YA Sex (like Riverdale). But it's not.
It's really well paced... it gets things done, and fairly fast, but it doesn't rush to them.
It takes the time to let us get to know who the characters are, and what they're about, without it being detrimental to the need to move the plot?

The town feels authentic. The characters feel authentic. The actress playing Ryn (the siren) is absolutely amazing. She is positively inhuman, but she's infinitely relatable. And she's badass and scary.

There are a couple parts that are a little cheesy, but I think the show may evolve past that.

Third episode tonight, and it continues to keep up with the first two!
Same pace that gets a lot done without feeling rushed.
Ryn feels like a predator. Soooo glad they haven't gone with Young Hot 'n' Sexy like so many YA series (*cough*riverdale*cough*)

I'm hooked!

Only a couple episodes left, and tonight's was the first and only kinda miss.
Every episode has been building either the mythology, or the plot. This one doesn't.
