Topspin. Like someone else said, the wings bring something, and I find the colour scheme more attractive. Also the "prongs" on the front always intrigued me more than the obviously useful drills. I didn't discover until relatively recently (I think not until I got the TR version and looked up his tech specs last year) that he was supposed to be an amphibious vehicle and they are "pontoons"...

Hard to choose between them. I always thought they were odd standouts, but very interesting! Had Topspin as a kid.

Hmm. Has anyone here ever disassembled a Jumpstarter? Maybe it is connected to internal springs that give one side of the other more of a 'kick' at transformation? I think these were the first Cybertronians. Wasn't Shockwave first? Obviously he's in it from the go in the cartoon. Not sure about catalogue-wise. |

They were referred to as Jumpstarters in the story 'Hunted' with Prowl and Bumblebee in the first UK annual. I do like the honesty of the Diaclone advert, in that it shows that sometimes they transform and end up on their backs, Honestly don't know who to vote for, Toptwist or Twinspin. Why would anyone want to be a double drill tank? I mean, why is that better than having a single big drill? Nosecone and the Powerdasher drill (and indeed Bonecrusher and Scavenger) are better for drilling tunnels and just as good at ripping up an enemy. I suppose Twin Twist could come into his own if he happens to be attacking two Decepticons standing very close together. I think I'm talking myself into voting for Topspin... Martin |

What Martin is trying to say is Top Spin was swatted aside by an earlier model while Twin Twist was able to keep the improved version (Galvatron) at bay for a while. No doubt single handedly as well!
