Make it stop! It's too horrible to watch!
Hands drenched... in lover's... rosey... stain...

I wonder if this is just people dropping out, or if it's just the number of daily new buyers is smaller than the number cancelling.
Don't suppose it matters. This is a dead parrot.

Phil last night mentioned something worrying. That we haven't had a TF Haslab project this year yet. I hope there's nothing lurking that'll come out of this Pulse Premium thing next week. I can't take any more at the moment. It's interesting looking at the overview page on pulse: hasbropulse.com/collections/haslabObviously Cookie is conspicuous by his absence, dating from the days Hasbro thought they could erase failure, but it's really GI Joe that is the outstanding brand so far. Supported by retail lines that are potentially even outstripping MotU for success. What would we get next TF-wise? Would they go for another Japanese biggie based on the success of Star Saber? Or is that too similar? I think play features are key with these because we don't get them otherwise.

I'm wondering if it's the cost that's putting them off. I do wonder if they seriously under-priced Victory Sabre, and so now they're shy of doing another Transformer. When you look at what we're getting for the cost of Victory Sabre compared to what's being offered by the HISS Tank and the Ghost Rider's cursed car, something must have gone wrong there. Sure, each of those is offering more unique figures, but given the mold complexities of a Transformer versus non-converting action figures and big, chunky vehicles sure the Transformer must actually cost more to make? Unless I'm missing something.
Whatever the case, I'm not convinced that as and when they do do another Transformers Haslab that it'll be anything near as interesting or complex as Victory Saber.

Maybe that's why the strech goals were so comparatively underwhelming? A pair of guns you'd expect as standard, a flights stand and couple of cheap repaint Micros. Guns aside no one would complain about not getting those.

Im not convinced of that for a bunch of reasons. Maybe if they had only scrapped past the 11000 minimum they could have been screwed by rising costs, but the sold 26000, some one would have had to make a monumental screw up for them to not be making money. Victory sabre is essentially two Commander class toys and was priced accordingly. FP always said 10000 was the production run they needed to reach to get their prices closer to retail and Haslabs 11000 minimum seems to support that they should be about retail price. And while I dont know how Haslab works, Ive got to assume Hasbro is making more profit from 2 Commanders on Haslab than they would after distributers and shops have taken their share from two retail Commanders. Having said that, yeah, they must be more complex to design and build. But after this round it looks like only Transformers, Joes and Ghostbusters will still have a 100% record (if we use a nebulous board game catagory for Heroquest and Heroscape). Given how much is likely invested prior to launch thats gotta mean something too.

With the retro G1 releases and the super 7 figure I genuinely wonder about a retro G1 unicron Honestly the best reason I can think for them not doing this is that they already did a Unicron. But I'd be all over it if they did. Make G1 Arcee a stretch goal maybe some non transforming but G1 looking Quintessons, Sharkticons, Arblus etc for other goals. Oh oh oh! Make them Action masters. Oh and an Action Master galvatron. You know forget about Unicron, just give me a boxset of Action Masters.

I feel like Hasbro are going to want an easy win for their next Haslab project and a G1 unicron would fit that bill. Would Hasbro making action masters conflict with the license they gave to Super 7 re: non transformable figures?

It's the lead time, a lot of costs have dramatically changed in the last 1-2 years, we're starting to see the other end of it now in their projects. The ghost rider car would likely have been around 200 if it was the same time as Victory Saber I bet

Is it rescuable or have they given it up for dead Maybe it should be a 3-way competition between who lasts the longest out of Ghost Rider fans' hopes and dreams, the lettuce and Liz Truss's premiership. Martin
