Meanwhile, the Heroscape game isn't exactly racing ahead either. I have no knowledge of how game crowdfunding usually goes so can't say with any authority whether that is doomed too.

Heroscape might limp over the line, but the big selling point is tiles. There's been loads of folks doing third party equivalents over the years so not the big draw it once might have been.
