Imagine this scenario - with a day to go a Haslab Black Mexican Prowl reissue is at 5000/9000. You'd put in *just* in case they didn't stick 5000 Japanese orders on it just before it finished, wouldn't you. Just to be sure like.

For most people the terrain was the main draw back in the day. I've seen some gorgeous photographs of tables set up using it for Battletech games for example. Nothing like being able to stick you Archer or Hagetaka up on an actual hill to rain missiles down on your opponents. The problem is there have been several different sources over the years for Heroscape compatible terrain, so it isn't someting that people are feeling particularly starved for - which probably limits the demand for this. It's currently about 450 overall in the BGG rankings, which is admittedly pretty great. ...but that means there are 450 games considered better, and you could get 5 of them for the same money. |
