For the last few years I have contributed art towards Rob Coy's Lenten Experiment which is then auctioned off to raise money for Cancer Research.

The above is this year's effort from myself.
It came about talking about art for TFNation and Toy-Fu with Matt Marshall and I mentioned about doing something. Matt said he needed something G2 related.
Now some of you might be aware, I have a passing fondness for this era of Transformers comics and art. So I said, if he could find no other willing soul that I could be persuaded to lend a hand.
I asked Matt what was it for and what was he looking for. A reasonable question I am sure you will agree.
Matt said it was a surprise, and he couldn't tell me because I was the one he was wanting to surprise the most.
So with that most helpful of briefs I went off and thought about it, and thought about doing something not too dissimilar from my Another Time and Place covers which would give a flavour for some of the themes of G2 and look like a decent cover if someone ever wanted to reprint them again.
