Could it be that to see such images on the forum you must have a Twitter account and be logged into it? (I don't.)
Edit: That can't be the whole answer, since I can see the forum pics on IE, just not Firefox.

That means Firefox doesn't recognise the file format for the video, there might be an extension that would provide the codec it needs.
Where's that video housed, Phil?

Twitter and it's MP4. Trying something new and wanted to test it before using it more widely
I'm using Firefox on Windows too and can see it on my normal session though I can replicate the error in Private View
IIRC Martin has had issues with me linking to images on Twitter too

I would have uploaded the picture I took of what was available but THIS was the message I got back...despite File Size being tiny!. . . Unable to upload file Smyths.jpg. Error: This forum has exceeded its attachment space limit. Your file cannot be uploaded. Yup, we can't do attachments any more thanks to having used up all the file space previously. I'll bung you my email, send it over and we'll sort it

My p!$$ has just been boiled by an image I tried to put on the forum
When I got it in a post the top third was whitespace and the bottom third was whitespace.
If you're taking pictures of toys maximise the size of the toy in the image!!!!!!!!!!!!
