Jason Momoa as the reluctant King of the Seas, and by-no-means reluctant adventurer? Yeah, I'm ready to dive into this when it comes out.

Aquaconan was one of the few bright spots of the Justice League film so I will give this a whirl.

Jason Momoa started with Atlantis, and returns to Atlantis.

I.... I mean it looks better than most of the DCEU, but the volume of CG in the trailer made my head hurt.
I know the setting makes it inevitable, but I was properly exhausted by it. Im all for trailers not spoiling the film, but on the other hand assorted CG swooshing across screen repeatedly for 2 minutes isn't going to sell me on ithe film.

Saw the trailer on the big screen. It was fine on a wee youtube window but my goodness did it look utterly dreadful on a giant screen (especially the bit when a big crowd looked astonished, paused then cheered). 2 minutes of *completely* unconvincing CGI people though these types of films often looks much better when they are finished properly. I suspect this trailer was rushed out before it was ready!
Amusingly, one chap behind me sagely intoned to his mate after it had ended: "That's the trailer for the new Thor film." We live in our comic universe bubbles but for many people it's all the same thing...

Finally got to see it today any it was amazing! Not as good as Wonder Woman, but it puts the rest of the DCEU to shame, as a fun fantasy-adventure movie!

I thought, and still think, Wonder Woman was woeful.
I did like Aquaman though!

I thought the first half of Wonderwoman was fantastic. Second half just wasnt.
I wouldnt mind rewatching it to see how I feel on second viewing.

I finally got to see this last night. I loved it. So naff, but so fun. It's really hard to evaluate films like this when there are things like Endgame in the cinema, DC really doesn't compare to Marvel, but in its own right I reckon this one goes in my bag of cheesy Sunday afternoon guilty pleasures. Atlantis came across as a combination of the fantasy of Flash Gordon and the neon of Tron, and yes the CGI was ropey, but that just added to the charm. Yes, Aquaman is a Thor KO and his jokes aren't quite as funny, but Mera beats Valkyrie and the MCU Jane Foster hands down. Apart from the red wig, which was just a bit too dyed horse hair. It's so close to being awesome, but I still find myself wanting to watch it again today. I think like Wonder Woman, this one's a keeper.

Aquaman was indeed great, DC have been in kind of a role lately, this, Wonder Woman and Shazam have all been fantastic!

And Gotham Sirens or Birds of Prey or whatever name it's going by is shaping up to be another great one. The further they get away from Zack Snyder, the better it's getting.

What the heck did I just watch?
It felt like it wanted to be the full GoT arc, Indiana Jones and the Arthurian Legend all condensed into 2hrs15min with dodgy effects and a visual style that was irksome.
My brain is having a hard time processing it all.
