I'll be there Saturday and part of Sunday. My budget was annihilated by travel and accommodation costs so won't be buying stuff but looking forward to the panels and the general atmosphere of the event.

Can't say I was very impressed. Zero atmosphere and spreading it across multiple marquees meant that by the 6th time security checked my bag I felt extremely unwelcome and hacked off. Good to see so many small press stalls though the event lacked buzz due to being all over the place and felt lifeless so I did not linger long. Hardly any back issues to be found.
Food available only outside, which is poor considering the time of year. In the middle of summer that would be ok.
Staff refused access to the building to wait for the panels there and insisted folk queue up in the cold outside despite there clearly being some room inside (very chilly and windy day) for half an hour or more. Not very inclusive for folk with health issues such as myself so I was pissed off and left.
The wee cheap comic events that have sprung up in Scotland in the last year are much better. Nice central locations help with atmosphere and the feeling of being at an actual event. Also: warm.
Bit of a rip-off. I suspect it is great fun running a small press stall there (which I may do in future) but as a punter on my own? Nah. Only really worth it if you don't have events like it near you and/or if you are in a group.
