Being serious now - I couldn't understand the logic of repainting Cyberverse Hot Rod as Prowl when there is a perfectly good Prowl toy in Cyberverse they could have used. But a lot of people are saying it's a homage to Energon Checkpoint, which does make perfect sense sense.
Of course we all know that it's because Prowl and Hot Rod made a baby together because they love each other so much!

I think "an homage to checkpoint" is being way too generous in an attempt to ascribe reason to something completely nonsensical.
Needless to say this weird choice turned something I'd have likely passed (Prowl repainted into a slightly different Prowl is not something I need to spend $25 on), to something I absolutely need.
