Going back to the classic Two Ronnies story where everything is female than male.

So if the original Marvel cash in US #1 was fembots - what would all the names be, would there be any charaters who would not work has fembots?

Megatron could be Megatronia on the names change.

I think that if Bumblebee had been driven home by Jessie rather than Buster and patched up by her mum rather than by Sparkplug, and the crew of the nuclear power station in issue #2 that Ravage spied on at length had been female, and G.B. Blackrock's aerospace plant workers had been female, and Gears had teamed up with Spider-Woman, and Jessie had got the Matrix when Prime was Shockwave's prisoner, and had the dreams about Special Teams, then the Transformers would all be using female pronouns by default and referring to each other as "her" and "she" rather than "him" and "he" when speaking in English.

My question, though, is why Bob Budiansky felt the need to make almost all the Nebulan toys male.

As far as I can tell, the only Nebulans that aren't fixed as being male in either tech-specs (http://botchthecrab.com/archive/techspecs/) or Transformers Universe entries (https://www.ntfa.net/universe/english/index.php) are:

- Kup's Targetmaster partner Recoil, a former all-world prismaball player

- Cyclonus's Targetmaster partner Nightstick, a master criminal

- Scourge's Targetmaster partner, the hot-tempered Fracas

- Doubledealer's Powermaster Knok - who isn't even referred to as a Nebulan

And Overlord's 'Energon' Powermaster figures, of course.

I've always wondered how well it would have worked if the Transformers referred to each other as 'it' rather than he or she. I'd have been happy with this, I think.
The only tech specs that I know of that does this is the original Waspinator.
