Yesterday Ralph revealed to me the truth that pages 1 and 2 of this have long been misprinted the wrong way round!
It makes so much more sense now....

Don't have those books so not sure.
IIRC the story was first printed correctlt in a late Marvel UK Special.

It says on tf wiki the only mis printed version is in the Plague of the Insecticons 'book', the original and all other reprints correct.

In the Annual page 2 of the strip is printed before page 1. The two giveaways are:
-The TALES OF CYBERTRON banner is on the second published page.
-As printed, Prime starts talking on page 1 but his speech is not continued until page 3. This is not the intended effect.

The Transformers Holiday Special 1994 (the 3rd last TFUK publication) prints the story with the pages in the correct order. It reads so much better.
