Obviously everyone needs to watch this tonight. No arguments! No Ralph, I'm not listening, this is important.
The Television Companion says episode one was billed for 18.10, but it actually went out at 18.14. 13 million viewers can't be wrong; brilliant Who.

The smite button exists for posts you disgree with. Justify your choices Burns.... They're all unwatchable, and so fit in that very small category of TV DW that I just can't sit through on a rewatch. What connects them all is poor writing. Those stories have good points in other areas, ie direction or acting etc but the piss-poor scripts make them a chore. -Ralph

I didn't realise about the episode/part thing. I only did episode one because I think I'm going to watch this season through each Sunday teatime.

I really like The End Of Time!!! You know, there have been so many cataclysmic season finales since 2005 that I would not be 100% sure in pinpointing which one that is. Was that the last Tennant episode?

I must rewatch the new era episodes. I remember so little about them compared to the classic series.

It's not terrible but the key explanation bits are so brief you can miss them easily. The emotional beats are there.
One of my old housemates gets killed by the toclafane.

The Master is a train wreck throughout both episodes. And to think we had Derek Jacobi the episode before!

Ah. Two more retained VHS cassettes can go if the Fenric/Battlefield extended VHS versions are included.
Mind you at this point I might keep them anyway as curios.

I was ambling out of the WH Smith at Euston station this morning, when who should I see but Russell T. Davies striding purposely in my direction! I assumed he was a short, jolly fellow for some reason and had no idea he was well-built and almost 6.5 feet in height. My giddy excitement at recognising a sci-fi celebrity was immediately replaced with a sense of terror at the realisation he was bearing down on me, with a cold-focus at a point several inches above my head. I thought he was going to walk into me, but he passed on my right, and walked into Smiths in the direction of the current affairs/sci-fi/computing section. Braver people on this Hub would probably have stopped him for an autograph or complemented him on a favourite TV show, but I was too afraid!

You should have asked him inane continuity questions about Trial of a Time Lord! For shame!!
