So the movie strip is a UK original then? Its the first time I read anything movie related so I dont even know what the US prequels are called.
Im surprised because it didnt feel as though it was connected to the previous established UK timeline. So my next question, is this in effect a full reboot?
Well at least having not read AHM yet Im getting value for money if I treat it as a straight forward new story. Maybe that was the logic behind the choice. people keep referring it to it as very sunbow like. After the struggle from the denisty(mostly visual) of Origins it might be seen as the way to go for a younger market that probably has never read the rest of the IDW line so wont be troubled by conflicts.

Picked up Issue 1 today, a nice bracing walk in the rain. AHM's presence isn't really a problem, spent most of V1 skipping the reprint material anyway.
Good first issue strip from Furman and Jon Davis-Hunt. The lettering is indeed much improved, the problem with V1's lettering, which I mentioned before is that they used the same robotic style font for everybody's dialogue - human and transformer alike. Bad move.

Maybe you could also send them a picture of you with all of your TF toys and comic books like some of the other readers do.

There is absolutely not enough facepalm in the WORLD for the letter from an adult fan sent in purely to correct two small mistakes in the quiz from two issues ago.

#2 Great issue with more Skids/Mudflap action, but at least fits in with alt universe now compared to the Movie. [no story plots revealed there, just that they are on earth]
All hail Megatron - #2 14 pages end with Frenzy attacks.

14 pages? Are they going to do odd sized adaptions then?

They didn't really need that first page after i read the issue. But is the page Frenzy leaping forward at bottom of the page - page number 14 in AHM#2? or have we had some pages missed & this is near the end of that issue.
Looking at next issue - price £2.99 not £2.70 so could be extra pages.

All hail Megatron - #2 14 pages end with Frenzy attacks. Wait, what? Ironhide said AHM would only be 12 issues. Are they going to cut stuff? (I guess that'd be one way of avoiding the issue of characters referring to stories Titan never published)

I dont intend to read AHM in IDW format till I've finished the titan version. Im well behind on IDW anyway so I likely wont catch the continuity issues. I'll take AHM as its own stand alone continuity and see if its any good.

The one thing at the moment is - the scene at the start of #2 is the present day & then just a few pages in with Ravage & cons attack is the past? Know that's a bit of a daft question. but without really reading the AHM thread [apart from getting the whole this is a bad comic]

Hmmm. Curiously flat issue this month.
Bit of shame none of the many competitions are for TF stuff. And no ads for the toys either.
Nice to see Hasbro UK once again pull out all the stops to advertise their products. Sigh.

I've just renewed my sub for the comic - price quoted was 3 issues £6.25 cheaper than stated on letter i got yesterday [£6.50] so 12 issues for £25. i won #14-2 free - but seeing ahm is in v2 #1-12, i'm putting down that i got them free. so just changing my database so i pay for #14-25,13,14.

#3 Nice issue & like the cover which is less cluttered with having the pull section.
16 pages of AHM starting street scene of shop being rained - ships being bombed.

Oh dear. So they're still not running full issues of AHM? The pacing on this thing is going to die.
*slaps forhead*
Thankgoodness I buy this for the main strip!

are they the start of ahm#3? did we have few pages of #2/3 in the issue. They are, so I guess we have. And since they said this would only be 12 issues in Law And Disorder, they have to be leaving stuff out at some point. (Maybe they'll just cut the whole Hunter bit?)
