Nausicaa Valley of the Wind is an amazing film, but I first saw it as the western release Warriors of the Wind. This would have been late 80s as it was recorded from preSky satellite by a friend of Dads. I only saw it once or twice before it was recorded over with Transformers the movie. If it had been recorded over for anything else I would have been angry, but it stuck with me till Miyazakis films started getting proper releases over here a decade later and I finally discovered Nausicaa.
Anyway Ive not seen Warriors of the Wind for over 30 years but yesterday stumbled across it after reading a facebook post. Its kind of terrible, but wonderfully of its time.

Hey hey, that new adaptation of Worzel Gummidge is pretty good. Folk horror for children.

I refuse to watch it. The only true Worzel is Pertwee.

Your metaphor is confused. Surely remaking Worzel is the same as doing the same things over and over in Generations?

Not accepting change.
Besides, this isn't a remake, it's an adaptation of the original book, just like the Pertwee one was.

Not wanting to watch a new version of something because I find the previous version as perfectly acceptable is not the same as not accepting change. I accept a new version of Worzel exists and am untroubled by this fact. I merely choose not to watch it. I have no opinion as to its quality.

Watching the new BBC adaptation of A Christmas Carol. This is not your father's Dickens. I'm not entirely sure if it's anybody's Dickens to be honest. Can't make my mind up about it.

Watched John Wick 2 and 3 last night.
Great films, and 3 is the final word in are dogs better than cats. Ian McShane is fantastic in them, and the right Larry Fishburne turned up as well.
Looking forward to Part 4.
