You are not the Booze Commander. Phil is.
Unless you are Jaga.

I feel Booze Commander is an inaccurate title. I do not tell people when to drink.
What the correct name for my role is - which partially is monitoring, partially enforcing Rule One and partially standing in judgement - I do not know.

Someone hasn't been paying attention. Had a little booze post TFN. Had some booze when visiting Broon in Perth. Had some booze at a friend's birthday just before New Year. Had some booze last weekend in Birmingham. I just can't do stupid amounts anymore. I can confirm Turnbull has been appropriately pacing himself Indeed. Sensible alcohol consumption is the way forward.

SOMEONE broke the booze curfew last night!!! -Ralph I was led to believe it was a ban rather than a curfew.... Not a ban, merely a self imposed suspension while I got to grips with my stomach issues.

Andu is correct hence why it is a curfew rather than ban.
Burns is meanwhile coming up on two years of his booze ban (for medical reasons). If I am able to get off these painkillers...

If physio goes ok next three months I can continue to reduce painkillers. I hope to be (prescribed) drug-free by Easter if all goes well.
Then Burns will very much enjoy having a real beer! I am so looking forward to it.
Or if medical matters don't resolve then, er, he won't.

Mrs M told me to "throw up some toilet rolls" this morning. I was momentarily confused as to what she exactly meant...

Perhaps she thought you had swallowed a few of the Bot Bots toilet roll toys and was trying to save you.

THE WAR OF THE AUSTRIAN SUCCESSION WAS 1740-1748. IT WAS PART OF A WIDER CONFLICT WHICH ALSO INCLUDED THE SEVEN YEARS' WAR 1754-1763. A COMPLEX STRUGGLE FOR EUROPEAN AND COLONIAL POWER BETWEEN BRITAIN AND FRANCE, AND AUSTRIA AND PRUSSIA IN GERMANY. INITIALLY BRITAIN WAS ALLIED TO AUSTRIA, AND FRANCE TO PRUSSIA, BUT AFTER THE WAR OF AUSTRIAN SUCESSION THESE ALLIANCES SWAPPED OVER AS BRITAIN SAW PRUSSIA AS A MORE USEFUL ALLY TO TIE UP THE FRENCH IN EUROPE SO THEY COULD OVERPOWER THEM COLONIALLY. AND AUSTRIA WAS FED UP WITH BRITAIN'S LACK-LUSTER SUPPORT AND REVERSED HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF ANIMOSITY TOWARDS FRANCE, SEEING THEM AS A MORE USEFUL ALLY AGAINST PRUSSIA.
