There are worse strips, some of which are running at the moment!

Yup and Deadworld, which is utterly incoherent in writing and art.
Hope is not my cup of tea at all but I can see the craft in it.

I can see what Defoe is trying to do even if it is missing the mark. Could do without Deadworld. Blink still annoys me.

I defy him always.
He mistakes this for ignorance of cultural knowledge but it is all a game.

Love Brink. Enjoying Dredd. Otherwise, the Prog is a bit poo at the moment so roll on the next round of stories! Megazine is currently in the toilet. Thankgoodness Lawless is back next issue!

Brink always feels like a chore to read. The boredom of the lead character is reflected throughout. Maybe that's the point and I'm just missing it?

I like the slow burn of it.
As for chores, I have given up on even trying to read Dafoe. The artist cannot tell a sequential story on a page. I literally can't follow it at all.

Nice.
Brink is worth a go in one hit. End of the first series I'd given up reading it weekly, it just felt rubbish, but I went back and read the whole thing in one go and it became one of my favourite strips of the time. Same with Brass Sun - about book 4 I went back to the start and did the lot and felt I'd got it that way (although subsequently it does seem to have lost its direction a bit).

I wonder what the other 30 editions will have.
Hoping for the likes of Finn and Armoured Gideon and even the Friday era Rogue Trooper stuff to get a collection.

I seem to recall that, maybe it's been moved?
I agree - Brink was good - it's the highlight of the prog.
