Going to have a bit of a tidy up this week. That seems to be something I say a lot, so maybe this time I'll do a better job of it.

Opened up saving account, put some funds in it and set up a payment plan. It's good to start getting that part of my life under control again (see week 1 thread).
Still feeling very run-down. Considering putting in for a couple of annual leave days later in the month.

This week I'm hoping to repeat my shedule which began last week, of having a hard day at work and then coming home and drawing at least one element of my several ongoing artistic commitments, be it a single panel in a Mosaic or a single character to a pin up. Aside from on friday, when I will have an early night to conserve energy for the BIG.

*shoots Phil and takes his toys* *Reveals by means of hand-held camera filmed flashback that he had previously switched the bullets with blanks* Today was the first of a series of long days this week. I suspect I will be in the office until 6pm most days this week and several of last week as I try to catch up on the time I lost due to SNOW CHAOS in December. Not looking forward to the prospect terribly much I must admit, but needs must and all that. Karl

Ah but in a straight fight which wins? Toy-Fu Hq or The Loft of Joy at Phil's DFiS?

Tomorrow (or later today actually) Liz needs to go to Weston for work. I have to take Jonathan to special needs group, collect him 4 hours later and look after him for 4 1/2 hours till Liz gets home. So tonight I need to get off to sleep early and get a good night.
HELLO INSOMNIA !

If only I could...
Shall scoot off in a moment to get in another couple of hours drawing. I'm thinking that Invasion Of Astromonster might be in order for background noise.

Come on RM, sort yourselves out, you've only got to, you know, do your job, it's not like anyone's asking you to eat ten raw pigs for breakfast.
Hope it gets sorted.
Hello Sportsfans! Just come off night, urrrrrrrr. Piglet received a shed load of lego for Christmas. I'm enjoying playing with it just as much as she is! Everyone know what Octonaughts are/is? A marvelous prog on Cbeebies. Piglet's had me building their various submarines things that they use. Much adventure to be had!
I realised the other day what a fantastic film Die Hard 2: Die Harder is. It's such a simple, yet perfectly paced action romp! And very quotable: "Hey asshole, what do I look like to you?!" - "A shitting duck..." BLAM BLAM BLAM!!!!!!

Oh! Talking about Die Hard 2 has made me remember an argument Mrs Shockers and I are having about my new jumper. I realised I was short on jumpers recently. I've always liked the jumper that Bruce Willis wears at the start of Die Hard 2, don't know how to describe it really, it's got a kind of foldy down collar effort going on (please see the film for clarification). I recently spotted a jumper like this (but in black, not cream/white as in Die Hard 2), and bought it. It was slightly more than I was hopeing to pay for a new jumper, but as it, at last, helped me realise my Die Hard 2 jumper dream, I got it! Mrs Shockers, clearly suffering from one of her frequent lapses into MADNESS claims it's an "old man" jumper! Mainly due to the collar! And having been forced to watch Die Hard 2 with me recently, she claims that the one Bruce wears is an 'old man' jumper as well!!! Naturally this is causing me some distress, and is shaking our marrage to its core. Are jumpers 'old manny'? Or are they still cool? Do you wear jumpers? Or sweats? Or just a big coat? 'Tis the crisis of our times, brave Cyber-chumbs.

"Just the fax, ma'am. Just the fax."
If it enables old men to attract young women like that airport receptionist in the film, I wouldn't let it worry you, Shockprowl.

Martin Man, you are one clever mother hubber. And that is an excellent quote, sir. Have some karma. Hear me my cyber-chumbs! All those who quote Die Hard 2 will receive karma from me! Such is the films greatness!!!

Seriosly, 5K is doable. I used to run that before my various injuries caught up with me. Bit of training and you'll be laughing all the way round the course! Laugh you will!! You could even do it in a giant Dalek costume!!!

There were options for a 10k and proper length marathons. I thought it best to try tackling the diddy one due to my general levels of fitness. Months away anyway.
