Well, Week 31 was a funny old week, wasn't it, what with those shock revelations about Susannah - or I should more correctly say Barry - Harker, eh?
(Now, now, Uncle Phil - no naughty deleting of other people's threads! You must resist the urge to use your powers for evil!)

It appears as if the space time continium can't cope with being stretched that far. Or indeed at all now. Blimovitch etc
Besides It's confusing having weeks beyond thew current one.
Besides (2) I'm in a very bad mood due to not having eaten properly for a few days now (illness running into CT Scan prep) and my wallet's missing

The joke is that by the end of the week we discover that Susannah "Pure Filth" Harker is actually a bloke called Barry!
Her Mum was in Doctor Who

Remind me and I'll resurect it in 2 weeks time. I just wish week 31 could have been time looped before the time winds claiked it.

Well that one wasn't long enough. 12:30 - 5:15. Home alone with Jonathan while Liz is away for work.

Off to the Docs then a trip of terror to Glasvegas to help Nick sort through Toy-Fu stuff before a summons at Mansion M in the evening.

Getting a bit sick of people giving me the runaround when it comes to job-hunting. When I was still studying it was always "yeah... we kinda don't take students because we know you'll all bugger off at some point and we're looking for permanent employees", but now that I'm done with studying it's either "we're not really looking for graduates" or "sorry but you're overqualified". Friend even has an uncle who admitted his workplace just throws every graduate CV they get straight in the bin without reading it.
Argh.

Hope everyone's OK. I had a stupidly busy few days of work and now ache all over. I'm ready for a few days off... but that'll have to wait. In better news, I'm working on my Brando impersonation as The Keepers of the Nephew have asked me to be Godfather.

My sympathies regarding the job-hunting there. It is a taxing and sometimes frustrating task, a lot of the time it comes down to dogged persistence and just plugging away at it.
Hectic morning at work so far - been running around a lot and haven't really had much of a chance to catch my breath - typical of the way things will likely go for the next few days as I get myself sorted out for the Great Voyage.
"It's just another manic Monday." That about sums up today. Hopefully things will be a little less bonkers tomorrow.

Hmmm... Rioting/looting is starting to get a little close to home, let's hope it stays away.
Also notice that there's trouble flaring in Birmingham, so hopefully that'll be over before the weekend.

Oh no that is where I keep all my stuff. What has started this rioting? It seems to have come completely out of nowhere!

What has started this rioting? It seems to have come completely out of nowhere! A fella was shot and killed by the police in Tottenham. Police story is that he was carrying an illegal firearm and fired at police first, but who knows. Anyway, there was a peaceful protest about it, upon which more and more people came along to. Violence kicked off from that large gathering and turned into full scale riots. Since then, gangs have been gathering together in various places in London and setting fire to things, looting, fighting police, etc. No real reason for it.

Hope no one is effected about whats happening in London - but London police seem to be making mistake - we've just had the one from the other year with poilce beating up someone who was just walkign aroudn - then we had the tube train guy. There are even messing up the BBC news reporting right now on TV 20:52 5/8/11.

Imagine what it could be like next year with the Olympics on.
Been putting the finishing touches to my Nephews birthday box. It is a silver/glittery shoe-box sized tomb sealed with police tape on the outside. Hopefully the combined forces of Daleks, Cybermen and other things will be contained. Been working on it for months so it would double up as a Doctor Who playset. Hope he likes it.
