Right. Martin's list next.
Then we're going to listen at the unbolted door and wait.

I imagine the door will open impaling us on a shelf bracket because we apparently are not holding on to them for safetly as I suggested.

I think it's pretty clear the feedback from the last set of actions is telling us that jumping on the bed is not going to get us anywhere.
Can we try Martin's ruse to see if the robot comes into the room? If not I think we need to wait for it to pass the door then head the other way. It's on a preset patrol path isn't it, so we would have some time in the corridor if we wait for it to pass by. Or maybe even follow it at a distance to see where it goes. The fact the game told us we only opened the door a crack when we unbolted it suggests to me we need to listen. Hopefully the robot won't notice the door is open or register that as a threat.

REMOVE trousers and underpants. HANG underpants over window ledge. WEAR trousers. OPEN door. DO Combat Yodel. HIDE behind door. WAIT for robot to enter and investigate window. PUSH robot out of window. Chafing. The end.

WAIT until robot walks past the door and then sneak outside in the opposite direction You wait listening at the door. Eventually the shuffling comes past, you go to open the door, but it's locked.

EXAMINE door UNBOLT door WAIT The door is bolted from the inside with a few heavy looking bolts. They're attached to the wall in no discernible arrangement. Whomever attached them must have been in a rush. You slide them to the unlocked position and the door eases ajar.
Location Discovered: Corridor (+1 Point)
You stand anxiously by the door waiting to see or hear more of what has been moving around outside. Your patience is rewarded as within a few minutes it comes from the right. At first you see a red light illuminating the wall, then as it comes nearer you look through the crack hoping it won't notice you.
Indeed it doesn't. It walks past right to left as if focused entirely on its duties. You can't see much, but what you do see is not exactly human, nor is it robot. You catch a glimpse of pale skin and what appears to be some kind of dark exo suit, wires from the head and an arm with some kind of mechanical appendage where a hand should be.

Aha, as it passes, wait until it's far enough away and
SNEAK RIGHT down the corridor, in the opposite direction to it.

This is new info: Whomever attached them must have been in a rush. So we were secured inside the room for our own safety? To be hidden? shackled to the bed for the same reason? someone is looking out for us, but then dropped the key to the cuff in the courtyard. Maybe the dogs got them.
Right, so we have to either follow what seems to be something like a Cyberman left in the direction we know the outer door is, or go right to avoid it totally. We must LOOK in the corridor or use EXITS to make sure there isn't a straight on we miss. The mechanical appendage on the Cyborg's arm might be something we need - perhaps it will open the front door.
It's second guessing time again then. Did the game think we wouldn't connect the location of the outer door from the courtyard to the corridor and assume we'd go right to avoid the cyborg, thus going the wrong way, or is it too obvious to head straight to the exit door so we need to go right to explore the building first and perhaps find that's the way we need to go after all? I'm thinking we still need to find something like a manual for the bike so we don't crash it, and as Blueshift wants to go right, let's do that.
WAIT until cyborg has passed ENTER corridor CLOSE door (to make it look like we're still inside) LOOK for exits
Let's just hold on actually moving until we know there isn't anything directly outside the door we need to pick up first.

I think we need to look around generally. If we only look for exits we wont be told about anything else that maybe of use.

Well that's it. We know the process now. We get a basic description on entry to the location which lists things we need to look at more closely. Had we done that in the first place we'd have seen that the door was bolted on the inside from the off. I reckon we needed to get rid of the bed or we'd have dropped it or something in the corridor and alerted the cyborgs, but we've bypassed that death. That's why I say we hold on before moving down the corridor - we need a good look around first.

Borg are easy. They're slow, they don't have guns, and they ignore you if you stand still. Assuming their current mission is not to assimilate you.

So are we not going to try the hiding behind the door and pushing it out of the window ploy? We did - we died. See above. We didn't get a chance to try it, we died because I forgot that the underpants were our only protection from deadly chafing. We should try hanging any other item, like a sock, on the window ledge, to make it look like we went out that way, hide behind the door and push the Borg out of the window! Martin

Or put the bed in the window with the shackle hanging over the edge. That'll make it look over the edge to see if we're still attached to it.

Ooh, ooh, and when that doesn't work, put the bed in the corridor when the Borg isn't looking, then bolt the door again and do the Combat Yodel, and when the Borg comes to check the door he'll find the bed in the corridor, and a locked door, and it'll blow his tiny mind.
And every time he patrols the corridor, let him find the bed in a slightly different position, with the door still locked.
And then one time, let him find us asleep in the bed out in the corridor and see if he notices. And then jump up and go "YAAAAA!" right in his face.
