So, anyone get any transforming robots for Christmas? I didn't, but then I never do. If not, what did you get?
Among other bits, I got a fantastic book about 1980s cartoons, the Doomwatch DVD set and Black series figures for Thrawn and General Veers. The latter excites me greatly because with my Who Classics Count Scarlioni I can now claim to have a Julian Glover action figure collection! Oh yes indeed!

I never get any robots as my family know I like them and would love to get some as a gift
I got a jumper and some nice tweezers and pliers. Also the sega collection for the Switch
My sister got me Labo so I will be making that when I get home

I always ask for robots, but I think the consensus is, 'you have enough'.

I stopped celebrating events such as Christmas a few years ago so today has just been a normal Tuesday. Just sad there is not a Doctor Who episode today!

Christmas haul covered a couple of different lines and all great fun.
Studio Series VW Bumblebee is a really nice little Bee. Slightly fiddly to transform but looks good in both modes.
From Seige I got Sideswipe and Hound. Not much to say but to echo the thoughts of others. They feel like a massive step up in terms of mainline releases. Incredibly solid toys, nice tight joints, fun transformations and look great in both modes. The weathering effect being restricted to parts that look to be gunmetal coloured works really well and seems much less obtrusive.
Finally I was given the giant one change Dragonstorm from Last Knight. Massive amounts of fun. It’s a giant brick but it’s hard not to love the lights and sound and general silliness. As a bonus he has a built in black light I could use on the Seige packaging to see the hidden text.

My family know me well. The issue is usually them figuring out what I’ve not got :-)

No robots. Siege Prime and Megatron were supposed to maybe be.... but... they came early....
I got a very good history book though. 'History of the World' by JM Roberts. Roberts is one of the best history writers in all... history. I'm very Eurocentric in my history reading, so this should help put things into a global perspective. And it's thick. Really thick.
