The not knowing where to begin line when you first investigated the leaflets has always sat poorly with me. I'm wondering if I should have just given you this leaflet early on, but then the alley would have been a little too obvious which house you needed to go to.
I guess if you overheard the people in the house saying that they would be doing the leafleting later on in the afternoon, then when the Dr. takes you to 8pm the leaflets would appear in the church and their new conversation if you knocked on the door again would reflect this.

Turning to the other, they speak in a slightly agitated tone, but trying such that you don't notice. "You see Dave, I told you our guerrilla marketing would work." They turn their attention back to you, speaking again in their previous manner.
"We invite all those in who are seeking sanctuary, but you must show that you are worthy before you may cross the threshold. Please, show us that you are worthy!"

The main room is largely open plan, drapes hang around the walls and seating is provided by several large cushions arranged in a circle on the floor. There doesn't appear to be much else.
"Let's take the stairs to the basement and I can show you the solitary meditation room." says one of the people that welcomed you in.
You follow downstairs, along a narrow corridor. A door is opened into a small room... No, more a cubicle with a rather flashy looking lavatory.
"Well, this is it! Do you like it? We imported it from Japan. It's the very latest thing, that control panel there does all sorts for you. It even plays music! Hasn't broken down on us once." says your guide. "Please enjoy your time here."
He closes the door leaving you alone. At the back of the cubicle is a hatch.

The hatch appears to have no easy means of opening, it's flush with the wall. Where the hatch meets the wall, you can feel a slight breeze coming though the crack.

Every step another puzzle! Just when you think you're there. Confound that Stomski!
So - one linked location undiscovered, which must be the other side of the hatch. I'm surprised we can't get a whiff of nastiness on the breeze to be honest, as I reckon that's going straight down to the sewers. Must do. Both POIs investigated - nothing else here, so therefore the panel must activate something to do with the hatch.
Have we seen Japanese anywhere in any of the places we've been? I don't think we have. Neither have we encountered any instruction manuals for toilets.
Interesting there's no more precise info about the panel. If you think about something like the ghostbuster gun/door opener panel in chapter one, it was fairly well described because we had to use it in a particular way. We don't even know here how many buttons it has.

The next thing you know water starts filling the bowl, as it gets close to the top an alarm starts ringing and lights flash. Suddenly the door behind you bursts open.
"Oh no! What did you do?" the member of the House of Welcoming says to you. He reaches for something, some kind of magnetic key and waves it over a specific area of the hatch. It opens and he reaches behind and flips a switch resetting the lavatory.
"I'll leave this open in case you need to reset the system again. Not the first time it's happened. I'll leave you in peace to your meditations."
As he leaves you look down to your hacking device. In the chaos, it seems some water was splashed on your hacking device rendering it unusable. You discard it in a waste bin.

You climb through the hatch and find yourself in a tunnel that seems to run beneath the street. Your eyes adjust to take in the small amount of light filtering through grates in the roof that allow drainage for the pavements and roads above.
The tunnel however is blocked in both directions by large metal bars running from ceiling to floor, designed to allow the flow of waste, but prevent movement of large items. It seems that there may be access from various properties above, similar to that which you came in, but many have been closed off presumably for security reasons. One solitary other access point seems to be available, one to the right of the one you just came from.
