I would go for romantic. I would imagine that should read "Goodnight my dearest. The Library is..." as opposed to someone calling the library their dearest. Imagine some poor soul who encounters a friend at the library but can't express their feelings, writing notes in books after their friend has left instead. That's quite sweet.
Apart from the fact there is nothing wrong with being in love with a library... Come on, come on, we've all been there. Admit it!
