Expecting he, and Cybertron Defence Hotshot, will get revealed at NYCC, which is first weekend in October and orders will go up soon after. |

Who would have put money on this line giving us a half decent set of Powerdashers? Or Reflector come to that. I would like to see the Omnibots kept back until we're back into Earth alt modes.

Managed to tear myself away from Ironworks long enough to have a look at Ricochet. I was expecting to be disappointed by this given the poor response Jazz got, so poor I didn't buy that version. But this is alright. Figure poses well, it looks good in this deco and the car mode is no where near as bad as photos make it look. Perhaps I'm alright with this because it isn't Jazz, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I didn't want to let a combiner limb slip through my fingers, but I wasn't expecting to find a good individual figure with it.
Plastic feels okay to me, but as I think has been widely noted, the joints are no where near as tight as they should be. Feels floppy.

I put Ricochet next to RTS Jazz. That puts it into perspective a bit. Probably a better effort than the CW versions of the Diaclone cars, but not a figure that could be regarded as the definitive CHUG Jazz. RTS is still top of the pile there.

Except RTS is MASSIVE next to Siegey Siege. I don't have mine anymore, but I bet he's as big as Siegey Prime!

No, it works fine. Well it does to me anyway and I'm usually a stickler for scale. RTS Jazz is a shade shorter than Siege Ironhide, so yes, he's bigger than Prowl, but not outside the realms of acceptability.

Well, I'll keep going with me crappy POTP Jazz and his broken-during-transformation leg, until they give us a Siege Jazz.
