With official Transformers packaging.
I think you have lost this one.

I'd say they are the Rock Lord Narly's of the Transformer toyline.

I was thinking about this today. I bought a handful of these when they originally came out, but I was never one to buy toys randomly, or this kind of animal figure. I've always had it in the back of my mind that there was a connection between these and Transformers, way before I ever knew about the Headmasters series. So was that purely down to the advertising they got in TFUK, or was there something else? I know over here they weren't marketed as being part of the Transformers line, but did anything link them?

Did Marvel UK do the Annual? Maybe that is where you made the connection?

Might be. I think it must have been the promotion in TFUK that made me think they were relevant to me and not just some random toyline.

Did one get given away as a covermount at some point? I seem to recall having a single one.....

I know over here they weren't marketed as being part of the Transformers line, but did anything link them? The non-human Pretenders look like they were designed by the person who designed the Battle Beasts. Martin

Wasn't with Transformers though. Not even sure it was a Marvel title. I know I had one of them back in the day and so that may have been a covermount, unless I am confusing it with the Manta Force Special that came with a little man. -Ralph

If it was with Transformers we'd have covered it in the 30 years thread.

Does the fact that this poll lacks a sausage option make it a 'Meaningful Vote'...?
Is this how it will be now on The Hub..?
All polls without the 'Sausage' option will now be 'Meaningful'....?
Now we've FINALLY discovered just how significant the 'sausage' option is...

WOULD THE HONOURABLE GENTLEMAN FROM SKIPTON PLEASE CONTROL HIMSELF?
If he cannot I suggest he finds himself an ambulance.

I just found the battle beasts I bought 5 or 10 years ago. Way more than I remembered, about 30 different figures about half with weapons.
One of them has left me stumped, theres a Bloodthirsty Bison thats all in red. Its arms dont move, it looks like a TF decoy. I can't decide if its a really well done homemade casting or a poor KO.
Anyone ever come across KOs or some other cheap merchandise that might explain it?

Also I stumbled across this on a japanese auction (for insane money, I think £700)
