I avoided all spoilers simply by not reading this thread (or rather not finding time to visit the Hub due to holiday commitments). I think the 4th is a reasonable time to open conversation out a bit more.
I agree with all Andu and Martin have said. And glad Burns is seeing the light.

I don't know about you guys, but I thought the Yoda/Chewie sex scene was gratuitous and unnecessary. Though the way they homaged the pot-making scene from Ghost was a nice touch.

And it's nice that Chewie can speak english now! Really gives the character a fresh outlook.

I thought Peter Mayhew put in a really good shift in TFA, especially considering his age and health problems.

Ah. Well the join is seamless. I would never have known.
On a related point, I note from the credits that Kenny Baker is billed as 'R2D2 consultant'.
In other other news the novelisation has turned up in Sainsburgeries. Ten pounds.

Nah, it doesn't take long to add them or for people to click on it.
In the case of theories about the new story arc, spoiler tags are probably to be encouraged anyway.
Andy - pic blew my mind but I ain't buying it.
No talk of Rogue One - A Star Wars Story? Will this include the Video Game character Kyle Katarn? In Dark Forces (PC/1995) he was responsible for stealing the Death Star plans prior to ANH.

Alas he's old expanded universe so has gone the way of Mara Jade, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Baron Fel and Kir Kanos.
I've owned action figures of all ofthese and Kyle Kataran!

Yeah - but would be nice of they reimagined the character for the current canon.

I am very unhappy about Nien Numb and must discuss my theory that he is responsible for the tragic loss in act 4.

I have fond memories of the games, but Katarn as a character made no impression on me.
I'd be happy if all that happened was that the new movies included a throw-away passing reference to Thrawn - Leia mentioning the trouble they had with him or something like that. He is too good a character to just ditch (and a much more compelling visual than any of the TFA imperials).
