What's a Luke Skywalker? Low Leia content too.
Good trailer though.

Luke is clearly being held back as the thing you're not going to see until you're in the theatre. Pleasingly, the trailer doesn't feel like it gives much away.

Booked for first available 2d showing on opening day (17th). I would usually wait but I just don't want it spoiled for me by other people.

What if... Old Man Luke is only revealed at the end of the first movie... like Spock in Unification Part I? Or even worse held back until the *next* movie to tease Andu.. I mean... the fans even more??

Who cares about Luke anyway? It's all about IG-88. He must return!!!

Hmm... Could Andy do a Jem/SW double bill? In that order. Aren't they both out around the same time?

I wanted to do the midnight show imax at the closest cinema to me (Crawley Cineworld) but it had sold out by monday night/tuesday morning, so am going the first imax thursday morning. Obviously aware that it would be busy, but a sold out cinema performance for a regular release two months in advance, first day of sales, on a school night, a midnight show, most expensive show... I've never come across that before. This film is going to smash box office records.

Midnight showings are quite common for big releases now. The last Hunger Ganes has the same release strategy. Alas the only midnight showing round here are in 3d so I can wait until the morning for 2d.

Discussions with my seat neighbour at tonight's BttF showing suggested I am not alone in thinking OML will only appear at the end of the new movie.

Or the illogic of Shockwave!
My girlfriend had now watched Episode IV for the first time. She liked it.
Empire and Jedi to go before the new film comes out. And then to compress 30 years of nostalgia into the remaining time...

There was amusement at work when I refused to request any annual leave over the festive period. "But I'm taking the 17th off to see Star wars Episode VII!" I protested.

More Old Man Luke action than ever before! -Ralph Was he in that trailer or are you being sarcastic? What if Old Man Luke gets fridged early on? How mad would everyone be?

No he isn't in the trailer. For possible reasons... {Spoiler}Well that depends.
There are two main schools of guesswork at the moment.
1 - he gets killed but it's near the end of the film and he only appears then. 2 - He's turned bad, and is Kylo Ren's master.
