Once again Needlenose is denied! I'm sure we'll see the mold turn up at some point, though.

Disappointed SDCC hasn't revealed the second leg's title officially. But then it does seem the goalposts have moved again with this fifth wave being confirmed. I find it fascinating the way plans seem to adapt based on early sales, like CW ran longer than expected.

This is interesting because Fall 2020 implies a similar release slot to Impactor/Mirage this year, but if at that point in the 'narrative' the Ark is loading, what does that mean for the third part of this trilogy? If it's the War for Cybertron trilogy, does that mean part three might be Cybertron after Prime et al have left?

Hmmmm. That would be very interesting! Trannis, Xaaron etc. I don't think Hasbro would stray that far from The Core, though.

Continued from tmukhub.proboards.com/post/376882/threadNow the evidence suggests [WFC SIEGE] wave 5 is an add on to the line, but it's a bit of a mixed bag. Direct Hit and Power Punch look like being pull fowards from WFC II - we believe more combining Micromasters are coming but I cna't find the post I saw from a reliable source indicating this. But they're different from the Siege convert/combie into weapons Micromasters. Apeface also feels like a pull forward from the next line, and if we see Snapdragon & Scorponok there we'll know for sure. Ditto Spinister, with Needlenose having been in the poll for WFC II Astrotrain...... I think Astrotrain *might* have been the intended third Siege leader with Galaxy Force Op being pulled forward from WFC II. And with that I need to switch to the WFC Armageddon thread...... There's a vague whiff of Unicron Trilogy about WFCII. We know there's an as yet unreleased Hound as Cybertron Defence Hotshot redeco, and our reliable leaker claims to have it/have seen it: www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/war-for-cybertron-2019-speculation-thread.1142465/page-730#post-17054732he also says www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/war-for-cybertron-siege-appreciation-thread.1156282/page-851#post-17024830The "union of all the storylines" idea would also account for a Rung battlemaster has materialsed from seemingly nowhere Going back to the smell of Unicron Trilogy the there's the Armada Op seen in Japan - tmukhub.proboards.com/post/354287/thread - that we thought was Select and now aren't so sure. Plus the Air Strike Patrol Micromasters ad their combined sword mode would seem to have an Air Defence Team Minicons and Starsabre repaint in them. Plus if a green Armada Megatron is intended, that might explain why no G2 green version of the Voyager Megatron. Plus, of course, there is now a very big Unicron toy on the table!

I hope Phil is right. I would love part 2 to be an Armada homage. But are we also not seeing indications of a TR reprise in the latest figures? This Siege wave 5 really intrigues me. When CW was extended due to popularity there was an obvious source to pull new figures from because not all the SC combiners had been done, but these add-ons to the Siege line don't seem to fit naturally with the first four waves. They hint at being brought forward from something else or are unused designs left over from other lines. I mean, look at the Voyagers we've had - iconic 84 originals plus Springer. How does Apeface fit with those? And using the TR gimmick? We had rumours during TR that Apeface was coming but then he never did, perhaps because of the perceived shorter run TR had than conjecture suggests it was going to have, so maybe this figure is just a left over and Armageddon won't be TR2 after all?

I hope Crosshairs wasn't just the alternate head on Ironhide's mould and we will get the other Targetmaster Autobots. I'd rather they complete that set before we start the 88 Autobots. Scoop and co really don't need to have Cybertronian alt modes.

Yes, Hasbollocks need to FINISH TEAMS. Finish teams before moving on. It can't be that difficult. Don't they know that the kind of adults that collect Transformers are almost certainly going to have obsessive compulsive traits?!?!

We had good mould matches in TR aswell. As it stands there was no need for that Hot Rod to look so bad in car mode if it wasn't a premould. Still. We're well past those moulds now.

Sunstreaker, Jazz and Trailbreaker.
We'll be kept waiting on the Autobot Targetmasters, and will skip on to the Powermasters.
More Micromasters, as they seem to fit in the bases play pattern. Not Scorponok, maybe Galaxy Shuttle, because I think Hasbro are enjoying this too much.

Unless it's more 84/85 characters with Cybertron modes, it's quite hard to tell because we've run out of line gimmicks from the 80s. Clearly the micromaster line will move into the 1990 combiners because one's been brought forward into Siege, which presumably means the Legends scale isn't coming back yet. I think Siege wave five us the best indication because those look like figures brought forward. Not TR2 strictly, but 84/85 characters mixed in with missing Headmaster era figures.
The interesting question is Scorponok. Big hole. There are good persuasive arguments for him being Titan or Commander. His G1 toy is naturally suited to commander but Hasbro are being slavishly Sunbow in scale with this, which would make him Titan. Their original thinking was also Titan because of the vote. Takara also did that Fort Max recolour and they'd score big with a Titan sized Black Zarak.

They might do the Action Master originals with actual transformations. I can't see them putting actual Action Masters out in Siege. Cyberverse, yes, but not Siege.

Being pre-earth I was thinking it still has to be the early names, but it doesn't really. Prime Wars was a really loose umbrella term that was tenuously linked to each of the three sublines at best. If they followed the comic chronology we know the headmaster characters are kicking about somewhere on Cybertron anyway. Only thing is, they don't have the nebulan heads.
