I like the face colours better on the Pit one but prefer the egg colour on the retail one.

Not sure detach is the right term, but thet do appear to be screwed on to base plates so shouldnt be too hard to remove and swap if someone really wanted to.

I haven't opened any of these yet but I'm sure the retail judge comes with two of the faces separate to the figure doesn't it? Don't they all come off?

Not sure if they would snap back off safely. But then, maybe they can: to recreate the strange cock up in Five Faces Of Darkness, when they are on Goo.

Thust is kinda really weird in hand.
I can appreciate some of the decisions made, but a few others stand out as especially odd or look really bad.
I appreciate that they gave up on the wings instead of doing something really stupid for "sunbow accuracy," like the VTOL fans on the previous Generations version popping off and moving to the tailfins, leaving those dopey really thin, really long wings on his back. On tge flip side since the ER seeker is an entirely new mold being designed from scratch to have four unique toolings (unlike classics, which was ever only designed to be starscream and ramjet), it puzzles me why they didn't engineer an option for thrust's wings to be attached to his legs. (Just like why didn't they sculpt Starscream's chest differently to be more 80s accurate instead of keeping the weird flatness of the classics tooling?)
The lack of black nosecone paint is weird, as has been pointed out. But stands out a lot more on Thrust than it does for the other two. At least for me.
Also something i hadn't picked up on, is he's mostly black. And where they chose to paint him burgundy vs where they left black plastic, combined with his legs being solid chunks of burgundy plastic makes his jet mode look really incomplete.
Of the seven seekers we have, thrust is my least favorite. Though I suspect my opinions would rise with either a better/more consistent deco, or repainted into a different character (Nacelle)

Netflix Prime might be back in stock for home delivery from Smyths on 26th Jan, I may need reminding.

Netflix Prime has been put back another week for home delivery on Smyths. Annoyingly, they have three in stock.
My patience is tried, I have never wanted to go to a toy shop so much!

So, are Bombshock and Growl the only Micromasters to not get repainted?
I mean, released on their own as Micromasters, I'm not counting Countdown at this point.

I'd need to check....
.... however Bombshock and Growl aren't original they reuse parts from the Siege Battle Patrol

Is Ricon not remoulded from Highjump, he wasn't just a repaint was he? He hasn't been reused.
We were expecting a couple that never showed I think, because the heads were there on two of the ten pack ones? something like that. The guide I did isn't easy to pull that info out of. A table would be better.

Yeah we saw Bombshock and Growl heads on the Battle Patrol repaints but they went unused on the actual Bombshock and Growl!
I think the original or remoulded versions of one of the cars haven't been reused.
Yes a table would be useful but it's the end of a long day and I'm very tired and brain dead thanks to British Science week sucking my mind out

So, are Bombshock and Growl the only Micromasters to not get repainted? I mean, released on their own as Micromasters, I'm not counting Countdown at this point. Last night during the Zoom chat I had a look at what's what when it comes to the WfC Micromasters - this spreadsheet breaks it all down: drive.google.com/file/d/1tZerwyOqw0R5XQ4qhsbS9A4AuQeUrugP/view?usp=sharingWhen you hold Bombshock and Growl next to Topshot and Flak it's pretty harsh to call them remoulds. They're engineering reuses, but the parts are different and in places aren't even the same size or position - Bombshock's legs are shorter and the support strut for his feet hinges in a different place, and he has the bit that drops over his chest that Topshot doesn't. The only actual shared piece is the gun barrel. Similarly, Growl's legs don't flip up on top of the vehicle like Flak's, they slot in to make the back of the vehicle. The only shared piece between those two is the torso. There may well be more engineering shares, not explored it fully. It also appears Furzer and Blastmaster are still called that in the Amazon Odyssey 5 set. The naming for that set seems to be a shambles. Phil will now tell me why the spreadsheet isn't right.

It's a bit more complex than that.... Top ShotFlakBombshockGrowlBombshock has Top Shot's Cannon & Heel Spurs and Flak's thighs Growl has Flak's 5mm post & his upper torso and the thighs of Top Shot. In addition Bombshock's head *MAY* have made it's debut on Cratermaker - I'm unconvinced, have a look at yours cos The head on the TFWiki picture is wrong.

In all fairness, thigh and 5mm post reuse don't really count as recolours though.
Still, fascinating stuff.

No but there are distinct parts in common to both toys, namely a frame that's grey on both sets.
