Which G1 Optimus Prime specifically are you talking about? Star Convoy is G1 and came with Hot Rodimus.

Does Star Convoy have ramp connectors?
I like the idea that Micromaster bases have to have ramp connectors. Of course that's how you define them. Duh.

Given the presence of Micromasters in the Battlestars line and the purposeful interconnectivity of Star Convoy's base mode with other Micromaster bases he does transform into a Micromaster base. Other G1 versions of Prime do not.
I'm starting to thinking Curry week screwed up the Hub. Even the Great Martin is spouting nonsense on here tonight.

Original Optimus Prime never even met any Micromaster 'coz they weren't invented until after Powermaster clone Prime was made.
So no.
Unless...his trailer was still around after he died in the video game. I guess the it could have been donated to homeless Micromasters.

Original Op's trailer was a base for Mini Autobots. Brawn could sit on his missile launcher (with hatch open to form a chair for him). Huffer and Windcharger could ride on Roller.
Metroplex interfaces with small Special Team members.
Fortress Maximus and Scorponok were released in the same year as TF Decoys, so they are clearly Decoy Bases.
Powermaster Prime was released in the same year as the first three Micromaster Patrols...

The Mini Autobots and Prime were from totally different toy lines so they can't have been designed to be compatible... But... the bit about Metroplex is true, so - wait? Decoy cities? what? And Powermaster Prime does have a base mode with ramps, so do the... oh... OOHHHHHH! *BOOM*

Indeed. But alas original 1984 isn't..... unless the reason the trailer has disappeared from releases recently is hat is being remoulded to give in original Micromaster connectors?
(The cynic in me suggests the vanishing trailer might be linked to driving up demand for a trailer when there is a Generations version coming - odd it should get damaged just before a new trailer comes out)
