Hmmm. Nothing leaping out as radically different paint-wise as Scrapface and Mirage in this wave. Sighed when I saw Elita-1 is a retool of Arcee. The prophecy of only one female mould at any time has come true.

It's amazing how much better Soundwave looks without that weathering crap all over him.

Bumblebee and Elita 1 are interesting because they take us into new territory for that line. Bumblebee particularly. If he'd been heavily battle damaged I'd say clearly we'll get a clean one in Earthrise wave 4 (if there is a wave 4) but the fact they've put exactly what the Earthrise figure would be in the Netflix line is weird.
It isn't impossible he'd get a mainline release, Black Series put out identical figures in different lines (eg the new moulds on the 40th card backs are coming out in black series boxes too), so he could turn up as a wave filler down the line, but it would be something new for Transformers. Maybe Hasbro had to entice Walmart into another wave by offering some new figures as opposed to repaints.

Pottop Elita 1 is much better than this one. At least that mould provides some variety.

Maybe ER is so borked, they're shuffling later wave stuff into Netflix so they can move Generations on to Kingdom at some point close to on schedule? Soundwave doesn't exactly fit either.

I did wonder that, but then I thought the leaked listings we saw for this wave predated the pandemic. However it would make sense to collapse a potential wave five into other areas to get back on track.
But even then, although wave two feels really late, it is on time for the pre-pandemic release dates we were given. It was always down for July.

The fifth wave for Siege was an add on, I was expecting Earthrise to be four waves

With the Magnus spoiler box I am sure we knew he was in it but the surprise was what he would look like. Whereas this time all we know is that it is a Decepticon.
Or am I misremembering?
The only available Leader redecos are Shockwave and Astrotrain. Shockwave has already been done as Galactic Man so it must be Astrotrain. Pinwig is probably right. Do we reckon original toy colours, Japanese white or just extra mud splash Siege colours?
I must have it. And so will Phil, if it has a Battlemaster.
If Prime is the Siege mould, I laugh that Phil must buy it again due to BM lust!!!

Just because they may have been in Netflix all along, they could still change plans. Swap Soundwave to ER version, clean deco, give Bumblebee his clean ER deco instead of the battle damage standard for Netflix.
I was certain that ER would continue along as planned, just takibg longer. But with Netflix basically announcing Kingdom with Hasbro's blessing, cheetor being in the third netflix wave, and we still have no clue about ANYTHING of ER wave 4... I'm really thinking it's been scrapped.

The fifth wave for Siege was an add on, I was expecting Earthrise to be four waves Yes, but there's no reason to suggest Earthrise wouldn't have got an extension too. Unless it was some kind of technical holdup that meant Siege got that extra wave. Hopefully before long we'll actually get to see wave four.

Could be ER prime with trailer, or Siege Galaxy in a Nova Prime homage

If they do scrap a wave the toys will have to be filtered back in somewhere along the line surely, the cost of development would be wasted otherwise. We'd be due to see Wave 4 next weekend wouldn't we? Am I right recalling that last year SDCC showed us the last Siege toys and it was NYCC that did Earthrise?

As far as I can see Netflix was a complete surprise at Toyfair and as soon as we knew about it we knew the spoiler set was Magnus but not what deco

The spoiler box is a good opportunity to do a colour change on Astrotrain, I'd like to see that, but it may well be Galaxy Prime. I don't think it'll be Nemesis off the Earthrise mould because that would put the same mould out twice in the same wave and Hasbro don't do that.

Description for Spoiler figure: '1 Leader Class 7-inch figure that converts to vehicle mode in 34 steps'. Can't be Shockwave. He is 28 steps. But Astrotrain is 19 and 17 depending on mode. Hmmm. 34 doesn't fit Galaxy Upgrade Prime either. ER Optimus is 35 steps.
Gah!

Some of these are very odd the more I think about it. Op, Soundwave, BB & Elita-1
Lots of new tooling on many of today's reveals. But the Op.... very odd.

Yes, I would have expected Bumblebee in ER first. Another missed opportunity to do him in his MTMTE alt mode. Elita-1 winds me up a bit. Why can't there be more than one female mould at a time? -Ralph -Ralph

I don't think it is. The deco is different. Almost imperceptibly, but it is. His head looks like it's burnt, and his smokestacks are dirtied. Clutching at straws a bit though. More than likely they've just ballsed the number up! I agree. It's one step off from ER Optimus, so that's most likely. ...gonna check a few things Edit: went to check PotP and TR leaders. Nothing there that comes close.

It would make more sense if the voyager was Siege Prime to go with the Megatron from the last wave. A nemesis prime from the Earthrise one would make sense, Japan would want one, but it would be pretty close to the dead one.
