Well let's see if this rumour is true first, and Earthrise still has a good while to run first. We're not even at wave 2 yet.

Don't forget that Selects and W*NC exist for mopping up characters that miss a main line. Inferno would have been a good shout for that because we got Smokescreen that way last year, but there isn't a lot of remoulding going on in those lines. I'm thinking about characters like the other minibots, Blaster, Jazz, Skids, Tracks etc who could do with an Earthrise styled toy that isn't just a repaint or a new head. That's why I'm hoping Studio Series 86 will work with the Earthrise figures if that's how we're getting Jazz and Bumblebee. Assuming this all pans out I wonder if BW Dinobot is reshelled as 86 Grimlock. Arms work the same. Dino head flips back instead of forward. Robot legs fold down instead of up. Between the arms and the spine there would be more reuse than a fair few recent releases. Slag can be remoulded in to Sludge, maybe ditching a Daniel repaint/replacement to cover the extra mass of the neck. Airrazor as a potential premould Swoop? And Snarl was barely in the movie so I hope you all have POTP Snarl.

No. I refused to buy him. He’s too small.

Yeah. He and Sludge really needed upscaled KOs in the right colours. Sometimes the bootleggers just leave money on the table.

And Snarl was barely in the movie so I hope you all have POTP Snarl. Given if what's happening with the dinobots is what I think is happening, then the goal is to have them be voyager sized but more complex (like ER Optimus, Astrotrain) or a bit larger (Doubledealer), with fancy accessories to cover the leader price. Because Sunbow supposedly had all dinobots equal sized and about a head taller than Optimus (even though sunbow couldn't keep consistant scale to save anyone's lide). This means that there's no way Swoop and Airazor would work for one another. You Dinobot×Grimlock theory holds a lot of merit as per Mainframe scaling though. Swoop and Terrorsaur would work if you completely flip Swoop upside down. Scale for Terrorsaur would be boned, but not as badly as Airazor.

I'm putting this here because of rumors. Can be moved to speculation or wishlist later.
It's now plausible to have an Optimal Megatron in Gen Selects.
PotP Optimal Optimus retooled, with a BM Megatron smaller bot replacing Optimus. The Optimal "suit" remains largely unchanged, though maybe in flatter colors than the potp release.

I am going to believe this when I see it. Mostly because the whole idea that we might be getting Beast Wars toys is too exciting - I don't want to be let down!
The big question of course is whether they'll be worth it. A lot of the original BW toys are pretty much perfect, so these'll need to bring something special to the table. Although Fossilizer armour, if true, could be that thing.

If the Core Class thing is also true I hope they do more than just Prime and Megs. I started buying the original Generations Legends versions of the main characters so they'd scale well with the Titans, but they only got as far as Prime, Megs and the See- Attack Planes before going back to just doing minibots at that size point. More teeny main cast big bots, please! Just like Prime Cyberverse, which was great.

But would it be worth it for the inevitably terrible cartoon that will come out after the toyline is over from the minds that brought us the amazing Go90 shows? Just imagine Beast Wars done like that. -Ralph

We don't have to watch it though. It's okay.
Unless of course another Hubber challenges us, in which case we're doomed.

quite possibly, yes. Fits with many existing rumours, looks pro and I don't think anyone could have knocked something that pro up in such a short space of time.

If it's a fake, whoever created it did a great job of imitating the key art style for WFC 1 and 2.

Could be down to different artists, but it doesn't match Siege and ER. Those are so much like him I'd swear they were drawn by Livio Ramondelli. Granted Optimus is such a weird pose that does scream Ramondelli, the rest of it doesn't vibe right.
Not saying it's a fake, but it could easily be someone's fan art that someone stole and slapped the font on.
