They really are TREMENDOUSLY confusing. It's difficult getting water up the spout without it getting everywhere and when you try to pour it's hard to do it without all the water chugging out and spilling!

That was always my experience of the metal teapots everyone in my family seemed to have, and why I've never bothered to buy one for myself. Water everywhere; the whole teapot heats up and burns you because of the shape of the handle. Why put yourself through that.

It sounds like you;re trying to pour it down the spout! It only comes out there
