Yeah I said on twitter thats it was only going to be a two day advertisement for Pulse. No point broadcasting it to people who wouldnt be able to buy products from them.
Pulse has yet to have a worldwide exclusive. So no surprise In Demand will have them too.
Its still a shitty choice, because it shows Hasbro are aware of the international fanbase and just dont want to engage. It wouldnt have been hard to arrange international distributors and include links during the con.

When you put it like that it makes more sense. I suppose this is just the hangover from SDCC - the release of the exclusives for their toylines that would have been done then. So really that's the Quintesson, Endor and Hellfire Club sets. Probably things like Bluestreak? I just don't see why that has to be limited to the US when they've been managing worldwide embargoes fine for preorders for the Selects stuff. We've been able to order figures as soon as they appeared on fan Friday and Tuesday timed releases.
I wonder if it's because there's this thing now where some sets become convention exclusives across the world - sometimes sets have been European con exclusives and then turned up in the US later, the Han/Leia black series set in 2018 was like that. I've seen the Endor set mentioned as being like that too. Maybe there was an intention that some of what they're doing was supposed to be exclusive at other events globally, which has been affected by the virus. There may be existing agreements in place that mean they can't debut these particular toys outside the US, even if the events they were intended for aren't now happening.

It is the pit, but we know being Pulse that it will also come through our shops with the kind of availability the Selects sets have. ID have pretty much said they're getting it, and Star have said they will have all con exclusives this year.

I suspect they will constantly be saying things like "and you can order this right now over on Pulse." or "Click here to order this amazing toy" and didnt want to have to have Graham Norton like "Remember folks text voting is not available in the UK" after every single one of their sales pitches. I get people are not happy with Hasbro generally right now. Rightly so. I just cant work up any anger over this. Or even mild annoyance.

Given the way the exclusives have gone in the last month. If you look at this objectively, the toys will be on our sites because they've told us they will be and if anything is shown of forthcoming lines, it'll be on TFW in minutes anyway. I don't think we're going to miss anything.

Yes, fingers crossed that Hasbro don’t realise their mistake and withdraw the shipments that they promised earlier.
Still so incredibly shitty that they’re region locking it to North America, though. It’s like they don’t even want our money. Which to be fair they’re probably not that fussed about. Domestic income is more important than overseas...

oooofff that endor set is gonna set me back £100 aint it It is. I would really like that, but given it'll drop at the same time as the Pit set and the Wampa, I reckon I'm going to forego it on the grounds I'm just spending too much at the moment. The key figure in that is the Ewok I think, the Han/Leia/Luke figures all have individual BS releases in the wave coming in December according to Yakface. It looks like the Ewok is the actual exclusive. I haven't started a Jedi display yet so I may leave that until the inevitable 40th anniversary in a few years. I need to finish the Hoth stuff first.

Isn’t this Hasbro UK’s ‘fault’ and Europe above that if that’s the correct corporate structure? If the Americans want to do stuff for their American customers isn’t that fair enough? The same with exclusives?
They probably have all kinds of internal policies about sticking to territories and not poaching sales from each other. Hasbro UK don’t seem to care much for TF and there’s probably a simple reason for that: low sales.

From what I've heard Hasbro UK don't actually have much of a say in what they distribute to retailers.

Takara might well do the pit set too. They did the SDCC throne a couple of years back aaand... I can't remember if there even was an SDCC set last year.
