Hasbro have done Fan First Friday live streams for Marvel, Star Wars and Power Rangers in recent times, surely we're due a Transformers one before long. I'm happy waiting if it means more news when it comes, but there has to be something to replace SDCC for announcements. I can imagine Transformers being last because of the gap between waves one and two. Although we were told Julyish for wave 2 before the pandemic, it almost feels like wave two has been bumped into wave three's release slot. The other ranges have still had releases through April/May but we had nowt, so I think Transformers is running a bit behind. |

The toys exist, the retailers know about them but they're not allowed to talk about them till the given date when they're due to be announced. Of course in many cases we already know what they are thanks to slip ups and leaks elsewhere and understanding of Hasbro's product code system. |

Well at least we still have two Unknowns to look forward to. -Ralph I have been pondering this ..... As yet there is no known reuse of any of this year's Battle or Micromasters. Last year all but one of the Battlemasters got a repaint and the one that didn't got reused in Earthrise. There's only 3 new Earthrise Battlemasters so far, they're all Rampmasters and none has a repaint. Most of the Micromaster packs were reused, and the Target box takes care of most of them. The Race Car Patrol become the Sports Car Patrol and Bigshot becomes Redhot with Soundwave Spy Patrol 2 being recycled in Soundwave Spy Patrol 3 and the Battle Patrol as Earthrise's Military Patrol. Soundwave Spy Patrol 1 hasn't been reused at all yet. The Battle Squad have got a straight Earthrise re-release. I think I make that 6 patrols yet to be repainted: Soundwave Spy Patrol 1: Ravage and Laserbeak
Hot Rod Patrol: Big Daddy Daddy-O & Trip Up
Military Patrol: Bombshock & Decepticon Growl
Race Track Patrol: Ground Hog & Roller Force
Astro Squad: Autobot Blast Master & Fuzer
Battle Squad: Direct-Hit & Power Punch There's also a Monster Truck Patrol: Hydraulic & Big Hauler retool of the Off Road Patrol used for WSC-S60 Ricon & Irontread and a Military Patrol retool of Flak as Bombshock that was used as Cratermaker that haven't yet turned up in their intended form (and in Flak/Bombshock's case won't) Another big Micromaster box somewhere perhaps? |

That's mainly cos the set was a Target exclusive in the US with thin distribution world wide.
This year's Target exclusives are Thundercracker & Skywarp and The Clones who were much easier to get.
It looks like worldwide distribution of exclusives might be better this year.
